  • I cant wait to get my TKD Black belt I am 14 and a Purple Belt

  • Just what the world needs another 11 year old Black Belt. McDojo's are bullshit. At 15 I make the students train and test with adults. I never give out Shodan before the age of 18.

  • @iamgodan lol im fifteen now and already was training with adults for about two years.

  • its for the money

  • is this association karate or MMA

  • @monkeyBoner773 @monkeyBoner773 Chill, this was almost 4 years ago so I was 11. TSMMA is actually really good, if you look at the professional fighters that come from it. Most of these fighters were black belts at a young age and look where they are now. It wasn't easy to get one now, and since after 4 years I'm still only first degree, it's not that easy to advance in the ranks. I got my belt on my second try, but I know people who tried 7 or 8 times and still didnt get one.

  • lol bullshit

  • That's a great achievement for you to b that young and already earn a black belt.

  • Lol at pushing that little kid away

  • good job you realy deserve yer black belt congrats

  • kids with black belts? hmmm i thought most martial arts only allow you to get a black belt after 18 years of age?

  • @f9hunter lol no not even theres a thirteen year old at my school with a black belt!

  • @f9hunter I do Taekwon-do, and it is nearly impossible to get black belt if your under 8 there. I have been told by sir, that I will get my black belt when im in Year 8

  • @Dustybolt ye well see i believe tkd and karate you can get a black belt at a very young age. in judo and bjj i know you cant get a black belt until your a senior-say about 18

  • @f9hunter Its not karate its MMA

  • @tskblackbelt you got a black belt in mma? lmao???

  • @f9hunter yea like along time ago it was karate and it gradually changed to mma, so they still keep some traditions, lol but it changed alot for the better

  • @tskblackbelt lols thats weird...cos mma aint a style. tkd+karate can be classified as mma. boxing+ judo can be mma. wrestling+akido can be mma. but im guessing your "mma" is more karate

  • @f9hunter It's Brazilian jiu-jitsu mixed with Muay-Thai kickboxing

  • @Dustybolt Im not 8, im 14

  • it was realy hard for me to get my blackbelt i tryed once and faild but the second time i naild it i got my blackbelt on 11/1/08 6:30 pm

  • good job at your age it is really hard to get black belt

  • ive heard of kids with black belts, but kids with black belts that cant even do ther own belt up. just given em away ey sensei?

  • First of all, I can tie my belt.

Second, it's not sensei who gives me the belt, it's Shihan Tiger Schulmann. This is after the ceremony.

  • There are 50+ schools. There are around 50 Senseis. Shihan is the one to actually formally give me the belt in the ceremony. This is not my orignal training area. This isn't even a Tiger Schulmann's School. This was when I was leaving, and Sensei was leaving too, he saw me and asked if i want him to tie his belt (in class, all the belts before black are given to your by your sensei and tied on).

  • you are must be as stupid as your user name.

when you get a new belt your sensei ties it on for you .. it is an honer to get a new belt level...especialy the black belt when you become a sempai

  • @tmmt1990 He was awarding it him! It would'nt be much if he only just gave it him, then walked of, like people put a medal over you if you get one!

  • If you look at all comments and see my oldest, I defended tsk, but then I realized once I kept paying them money he wasn't training me like he should have. A girl that did like 60 sit ups and did them very wrong, he said nice, but when I do the right sit ups and I do like 55 he says to look at the girl who does bad.

  • Really??? Wow.... That's weird....... Anyways I've been defending and supporting TSMMA for 6 years now........ Don't think that's gonna change......

  • IDK maybe it's just me but I've heard people had the same problem

  • And anyway...... At least all that money is put into a good use such as the new mats and redesigning of some places, the new schools, the new technology that was put into my school on monday(awesomeness, TV, Screen projector from headquarters, Camera so shihan overlooks his 50 + schools...), and other awesome stuff.

  • How much does a blackbelt test at TSK cost?

  • shut up turtle900800........you suck,i hav respect for your karate scholl but not u so go suck watevah.........tiger shulmans is ok............>:p

  • u guys just dont understand TSK

its all about self disipline, getting a work out, learning self defense, and building a life long community

  • True but they want your money more than teaching you

  • lol not really,

the owners are at every event. The main owner wont let his daughter get her blackbelt until she wins in her weight class at NAGA. And shes really good

  • Well in the karate school I got to is; Tiger schulman's in queens. They said I can obtain a black belt in a year, that I cannot go to a different belt because I didn't pay 1,500 of the other half of the year. My father paid 2,000 dollars for 1 year when it costs like 500 dollars in another good karate school. sorry but most tsk care about your money more

  • TSMMA Bensonhurst- under instruction from on of the best Senseis and a TSMMA Fighter Joshu, is really an awsome school. Our school has slightly different rules, some not permitting people who don't have attidude and focus to take class(making the school more on top, letting the instructors focus on a small group of advanced people, advancing them even more)

And besides, money's not my problem, and I still get an awesome class with people who are awesome.

  • i go to one in queens too, i dk what ur talking about, they probably meant you didnt pay for more classes

  • It's in rego park, and trust me my mom even saw they were scammers, well the one that really did was my joshu though. When I had to pay for a renewal of a month they call me like crazy, but then once I paid for the half year, when he taught class he didn't give a shit about me

  • well there not going to pay attention to only you, they just make sure ur technique is good, gosh. and if you want them to pay more attention to you than make coversations w. them.. u have sensei dubose right? he was my instructure at bayside.. then got promoted.. >_>

  • I got to say when I was in TSK I always defended it, claiming it wasn't a mc dojo or anything, but now that I see it, it's all about the money, you feel good when doing it, but once your parents pay, they accomplish what they wanted, that is my opinion. And yes dubose is a good instructor, but my Joshu, gosh he isn't the best instructor, I bet if you took lessons with him for 6 months you would not feel like coming to tsk anymore

  • I bet if you went to my TSK you for 6 months you WOULD feel like going to Tsk alot more..... BTW Who's your joshu?

I guess every TSMMA school is different.... Our sensei never really mentions alot about buying classes(nor calls me), it is instead me who asks him for a new plan, and he gives me a good discount....

  • Joshu Michael Sinaniev, I have nothing against him, he's cool as a person but not the best instructor.

  • What about the other 2 instructors, the 2 senseis, are they good instructors?

  • I have no idea, I have never had them, only 1 but he opened his own tsk ;I forgot his name, I forgot he was black, and the best instructor there.

  • My friend and I used to teach there years ago. Sorry things have changed there for you. There was never that short of a period to get a belt. We would never allow that.

Also the guy u are reffering to is either Burghes ot Hightower. Probably Burghes (heavy set fellow)

  • i g2 2 da 1 in rego park n they r not scammers i luv it there sure it is pretty expensive but they train u hard 4 ur black belt im training 4 my black belt rite now in a few months im goin n my joshu is da best he trains u hard n he can be funny sometimes

  • i dont know what ur talking about..everyone at rego park is amazing and u must not pay or something cuz ur out of ur mind if u say that they joshu and people there are mean and dont give a shit.....-_-

  • I never said they don't give a shit or they're mean, learn to read, I said they want money more than they want to train you. You'll see soon

  • It's in rego park, and trust me my mom even saw they were scammers, well the one that really did was my joshu though. When I had to pay for a renewal of a month they call me like crazy, but then once I paid for the half year, when he taught class he didn't give a shit about me...thats what you said so whatever idc ive been there for 3 years and joshu is the BEST teacher ever and it sucks for u that he isnt like that so w/e idc thats what u think that they want mroe money but its not true

  • Learn to spell and read better

  • turtle ur face rated 0 so stfu

  • tsk rocks all u fags who thinks its sucks can go and suck balls

  • ha same shit here

  • No way this kid is proficient enough to earn a legit Black Belt. McDojo's strike again.

  • Why couldn't you show the vid when master tiger schulman gave it to you, it just makes tsk look bad when everyone is getting ready to leave and you have your sneakers on. TSK is a very good school for people that train good.

  • i would post it, if i could find it... i think something happened to the camera during the shihan giving it out.... or maybe i just lost it or something.

  • Yeah and nice job with your blackbelt it must have been hard doing a split

  • If you can't tie your own belt, ....

  • what dans is it

  • my six month old nephew got his black belt last month! it was awesome!

  • @asesino1 6 month old newphew???? i dont get how thats possible hes only 6 months!!

  • @asesino1 lol, congrats man!

  • One more comment: what kind of karate is that with SHOES worn inside? Never heard of a karate style with people wearing sneakers while training, except for some outside classes. So much more reason for me to doubt the so called "black belt" you supposedly received there.

  • Because they are not training, they just received the belt. I kind of thought that too, but I go to tiger schulman and it isn't as good as it was.

  • One more thing: not even a formal cerenomy to give the black belt, people are walking all around, no formality, something like: get a black belt, anyone else around wants one? Hahaha! I bet anyone can get a black belt there in a few hours of total training, only needs to pay some money for it.

  • Don't be a moron I went to one of them and they receive their black belt in a line from master tiger schulman.

  • estebanll2 is right, there is a big whole ceromony where master tiger shculmann gives out the belts to everyone formally in a straight line and all that. look up other videos im pretty sure ull see the ceromony itslel. This is when we all where leaving after i reveived the belt, after everythign. i spotted my sensei, told him congrats ( he got a new belt too!) and he told me congrats. and then he told me he will tie it on, even tho he doesnt have to. i still did not post ceremony itself.

  • First they finished their test and the master tiger schulman gives the belt to the new black belts. And if they want they ask their trainers to tie it. And their probably wearing sneakers because it is the end of the ceremony. SO stop being stupid

  • You may not agree with me, I don't care. That's not karate anyway for me, just some people fooling around in their gi's.

My master tied my black belt when I got it in a formal ceremony, after 5 hours of testing that pushed me to my limits and beyond. It's the only wat in real karate! And if that kid doesn't know how to tie his belt...

Anyway, I was too respectful already by not using words like "stupid" or "moron". Still, it's too much fun to see this hilarious imitation of karate.

  • HAHAHA 5 hours? how would you like more than that? i was pushed to my limits, leaving my self with a severe headache+ tired for the next week. i almost got knocked out in kickboxing, yet stood right back up, which impressed the judges. this was after thet, after the formal ceromony, what would that be if they just gave it out like that? of course they didn't you retart, and anyone with a blackbelt and deserfed that would know!hey, and b4 u speak badly of us, how about u try our mma school

  • we dont wear shoes. thats not the karate itself, thats this place in newjersey some university, plus i awas leaving already right before this i put on my shoes.

  • Personally I can't believe in black belts younger than 14.

  • Welll I'm a black belt and i'm thirteen, i got it one year ago and i have been doing it 5 years now

    so there

  • I serously doubt you can do a kata with enough power, not to mention the kihon and sparring. I have a black belt in Kyokushin Karate, had to work really hard for it and I can prove at any time my value as being a black belt holder. Kyokushin Karate does not believe in black belts under 13 and Hanchi Arneil (the chief of the IFK) calls "disgusting" this "black belts" of 10 years old. And I have to agree with him. You may wear a black belr but your value is NOT a black belt value.

  • I am sorry, I meant NO BLACK BELTS UNDER 14.

  • are you doubting my skills? first of all im not 10, im 12, and whos says im not better than you. i have trained for almost 6 years, workout everyday, and have kicked many 14 year old butts.

  • Well, first of all I am signifficantly older than you, and my experience in martial arts is approaching 15 years, having experience not only in karate but also in changquan, wing chun, taijiquan and judo. I can only laugh at the idea of some kid saying he's better than me.

  • It's not your fault that you don't deserve this black belt, because you are too young, but your teacher's fault (I can't call "sensei" a teacher that gives black belts around without the necessary skills). Practice hard and maybe one day you will really prove that your value is good enough to deserve that belt, after you are 14. Karate means respect. The person who gave you that belt has no respect for karate, and I can see from your comments that you have no respect for karate, either.

  • You are right that karate means respect. You call yourself a master, but yet you are not respecting this kid. I guess you really don't know karate since you have no respect. And the fact that you are alot older than he is means you should know better than to pick on a kid for his black belt which he is obviously proud of, and he should be! I think you are giving yourself a reason just to toot your own horn.

  • It wasn't one person, 3 judges (sensei's i do not know at all) decided if i was qualified to it.

  • I've spent some time reading about this Tiger Shulman and his "McDojo". By far the negative opinions dominate the few positive ratings. He forces the people on expensive long term contracts and "guarantees" a black belt in the "x" amount of time. Kid, I feel sorry for your time wasted there. I think the best choice for you is to put on a white belt and start studying under a real karate expert. Really i have nothing else to add. Good luck!

  • he does not gaurantee a black belt in whatever amount a time. i know a kid who too ten years to get his black belt, and i got it in 3-4. Yes it is expensive, but irt isnt a waste of time. you go try for your self. me woukld know im not so dum i been here for 5 years. plus if i would my parents would who alst go here.

  • we mght have a different style : mixed martial arts, were we do kickboxing and grappling none of those karate chops and forms and other stuff that would never help yuop in real life. Second of all it isnt japanese it is american with over 50 something locations. We do stuff you would really encounter in school or on the streets, like maybe getting choked or getting punched in the face, or something like that. we learn how to defend our selves from danger, and quickly get out of the situation.

  • and as for respect to our karate, we have tons of it. we are always respectful, and have the best/funnest experience.

  • Oh and osu sempai

  • hey when did u get the belt I got mine in september and i have my 2nd star I want my 3rd haha keep up the good work kk

  • Your that young? holy crap. I hate when young black belts are made,I always doubt them. you should be atleast 15 to recieve a blackbelt.

  • thats what you think..... until you see how some young blackbelts train.... i know a 2nd degree blackbelt who is 11 and was like 8 or somthing when he got his blackbelt.... and he is really really good.....

  • man i'm in tsk its my dream to get a black belt dude congrats man

  • ty, what belt are you now? Keep training your best, and even training at home, and your dream will come true...

  • Congrats man, but Blackbelts shouldnt be given out to someone that young, im not doubting your skills or school. I just personally believe that martial arts dont understand the full aspect of the arts until they are a little bit older

  • um... ok.... sure... there are people in TSK who got their blackbelts like at 6 or 7... thats amazing for me.... that is really young... but my age is averega getting blackbelt level, cuz some kids start at 3years old..

  • well, true. there is a lot of controversy on when it's the right age to be able to be a black belt. because supposedly a martial artist must earn not only knowledge inside the school but also wisdom on how to apply knowledge in many aspects of life. congrats anyway. Remember, the path of the humble isn't easy.

  • nice

  • congrats sempai

  • thank you

  • what did the sensei think it was? GZ

  • when my mom said a camera... she meant a video camera. sesnei thout it was a still picture so everyone should get out of the way.

  • congrads! I was there that day but had to leave early to finish my hw

  • nice. congrats!

  • hey TSK! nice!

  • Congratulations!
