The reason is that bittern is based at Midhants so it is advertising the railway (We do that at the SVR with Visting locomotives)
The train was on the svr for around 2 hours, hauled by 67003 (the Class 67 on back) to Bridnorth and hauled by 60019 from Bridgnorth onto the main line.
At Swindon she was carrying a "Mid Hants Line" headboard that has now vanished. Odd!

I know she went onto the SVR for an hour or two. Perhaps that was something to do with it ?
