@jamexxxxxx The language in Brazil is Portuguese, which has a Latin root like Spanish, therefore both languages have many similarities and if you speak slowly people might understand you. Anyway, a booklet with phrases in Portuguese would also be very useful.

@TheProudEuropean1 That's wrong. There are a lot of white, black and "brown" people in here. It depends on the region. Most of the people in south and southeast of Brazil are white. In the middle west of Brazil, there's an intense mix, aswell as in North. In northeast there is also intense mix, but there's also where most of the afro-brazilian people live.

People tend to have premature opinions towards Brazil, without knowing the first thing about the country.
