  • Cool, Check out my wifes smallblock 73 Dart...It will clean your clock any day of the week and twice on Sunday! Smallblocks rule!!!

  • @slcalddrag im sure it could but considering i have a leaf spring pump gas street car im not the least bit worried about your wifes car...

  • @speedemon398 She street drove her car up til a couple years ago. The 360 with steel heads that she street drove went 11.20s. Just busting your ass because that heavy 440 don't run that good and makes the car too nose heavy. Have a good one and build a smallblock 360 ...They rock and my wifes car is proof.

  • @slcalddrag well i think it runs damn good considering whats done to it and the money thats in it and you cant get a small block to run for what i have in it. your wifes car looks to have been back halfed and running a big tire and ive run faster than 11.20s on a 10.5" tire. considering this videos 3yrs old im also still running the same heavy 440 as you call it so if you want to talk smack do it to someone who cares im proud of what i got not to even be 30...

  • @speedemon398 we run a 29.9 10.5 tire and 5000.00 in the motor ...bite me

  • @slcalddrag $5000.00 in the motor my point has been made... besides it being a ladder bar coil over car it looks like from the videos is why it stands up also not just the motor...

  • @speedemon398 It pulled big wheelies with the leaf springs also.

  • I love your car,I am building a 71 valiant with a BBC 454 because the 440's i find are to high priced!

  • got a little daylight under the front tire....nice!

  • sounds good

  • I miss my 72, the only thing I didn't like about it was mine had the small bolt pattern and couldn't find wheels for it.

  • Haha, I think yours would handle my 72 318 2bbl.

  • awesome car, did you make your own engine mounts, swap the k member or buy the mounts? have a 74 dart swinger, am trying to decide what to put in for an engine

  • it has the original v8 k frame with schumacher mounts and under chassis headers. only major thing was denting the oil pan somewhat to clear the steering.

  • So you just put on a 71 grill and bumper??

  • 70 grill and bumper

  • Did you covert it??

cause stock wheels are 5 on 4"??

  • its originally a 72 318 car they started using the large bolt pattern around that time.

  • What kind of wheels and are they 14's?? and where you get them cause i got a 71

  • they're weld pro star 15x4 on the front and 15x10 on the rear. 4 1/2" on 5 bolt pattern

  • nice machine! I'm building one of these myself and was wondering if you know of someone or might have a spare set of fenders available. I've had a bear of a time finding some. any help would be terrific the one I'm building is pretty comaparable 440 auto 906 heads 500 lift 300 duration cam holly 1000 355 gear manuel steering manuel brake shooting for hi tens you've ran your car alot more than mine am i in the ball park ?

  • well the 3.55 gears might be little high id go with the 3.91 even driving around town its a reasonable gear unless you get on the interstate. as far as a carb unless your gonna go really high on compression i run a 750 double pumper on mine and it has 10.5 to 1 and runs on 93 octane. cams depends on the other stuff you do but comp has a 292 duration 501 lift cam that ive heard good things about. no sorry dont have any fenders id look toward fiberglass just bolt them on and save some weight.

  • 440 with automatic stock leaf springs and a pinion snubber

  • its geared for the 1/8th mile but it runs mid 11s consistantly

  • what are you running for motor and chasis set up?

  • Nice Dart!!! how fast does it go in 1/4?

  • what size are ur rear tires?

  • 28x10.5-15 mickey thompson et drags
