  • What's the music in the beginning? It's not the Grateful Dead, it's some missing track that played in the movie a few times.

  • As much as i love this movie, I love Hearts of Darkness. They were going to die making this movie

  • 3:29-3:39 yooo! D:

3:51 though the end...damn what did they really use? excessive use of napalm and carpet bombings? gotta blow the whole base up to the stoneage/kingdom come my gosh... O.o

  • I saw this ending only once in the theater when the movie first came out and I loved it! Not only were the montagnards blown to hell, but it is reasonable to assume that Scott Glenn's and Dennis Hopper's characters were also pretty much vaporized. Oh well, when you hang out with a psycho warlord, shit happens!!

  • Awesome !

The way it was in the real 1979 release.

    The correct ending as well.

  • This be a good soundtrack for Gear of War Movie

  • I loved the old credits sequence with united artists logo.

  • What DVD did this come from?

  • no trees were harmed during the making of this production/film.

  • @76BLADERUNNER Lol, No trees were harmed but a few animals were slaughtered in very gruesome ways.

  • @ufuckfacesonofabitch yeah...the water buffalo slaughter scene O.o

  • Very guell fandango................

  • This is a work of art.

  • If FFC really didn't want people to interpret this as an air strike destroying Kurtz's compound, he could've at least left the target designation flares out...

  • I judge this to be an hysterical piece of film. Like Apocalypse Now in general, it's a great film don't get me wrong, but it's hysterical.

  • this gave me the chills

  • einfach irgendwie wunderschön, und die absolut passende musikuntermalung!

  • This looks and sounds terrific. Well done. Is the music Carmine Coppola and/or The Rhythm Devils?

  • my guess is that it was both. but i know that carmine coppola and francis ford coppola both did the music score for the film.

  • Biznz ...

Much obliged to you for uploading this version (sans FFC's commentary). Thank you very, very, very much for doing so.

    Take care,

    trollcrusher242 ;-)
