Great! I just wonder what kind of piano Yann Tiersen used to record the original, because the sound is very bad quality (high distorcion). Probably a low quality digital piano or something. Yours sounds a lot more "pure". However, put the reverbation a little lower! :D At 1m35s the notes start overlapping each other, because of the excessive echo! :D

yah I did this on purpose, to capture as much of the sky outside as possible, without having too extreme of an angle.

If I had a nice wide angle lens then I could have probably fit everything in, but my room is small and I dont have one! T_T

It's an electric piano, so I connect a cable from the headphone jack straight into my computer to capture pure sound from the piano. Then I manually edit out the extra noise in the recording, do some equalizer to make it sound less muddy and I add reverb to give it that full/bright sound!

Trust me, it's a long process just recording one simple song! :P But I want to have the best quality for people to enjoy!
