Your life a professor you know so much about colour i absolutely love your work,i have recently returned to hairdressing after years away looking after my children and i am looking to up-skill so any advice or help is very much appreciated
That color is beatiful! I live in a region where the clients are hard-core foil fans, they dont embrace change very well... I think I am going to try this on myself. Thank You Thank You Thank you!
I have just started using Kadus, I was always taught that colour won't remove colour, was your model's hair virgin with a highlights? It looks like it has a darker colour through as well before you started? By the way fantastic videos very inspiring :)
@83Karolyn yes she has previous color. The rule is "Color does not lift color PREDICTABLY" . It will lift if you know what is on the hair and how it was applied but you have to hike up the developer a bit. Hope that helps. Happy Day!
I have a women who has a solid gray hairline, I used a level 10 ash blonde on her, this is what she wanted, but the gray hairline did not blend with the rest of her hair, which came out nice. How do you go about blending gray hairlines like that, should I use a filler first??? Awesome video, thanks for taking the time to do this :)
@kimmmy88 take your level 9 gold straight from the tube and rub it on the grey hairline then put you level 10 formula over it and process together. Hope that helps! It is my pleasure to help!
Hi, Your video's are wonderful. I used this technique on a client, and it turned out perfectly.
I was wondering whether you think this particular process could be done with higher lifting tints on a light blonde client? I have many clients come in with over processed, traditionally highlighted hair and i think this could look much more natural.
Hi, I thought your video was very thorough and great technique. I would just like to know, how would you go about re-touching this client in 6 weeks time? Would you just do the roots with the 5/0, or something different? I use wella, where tint cannot shift tint, so this might be why I'm confused about retouching it.
I would just retouch the regrowth with 5/0. When it came time for a retouch i would then move to base color with balayage highlights. Thank you for the kind words!
So I'm understanding that when you filled you put the color on and dryed with towel and then with blowdryer and then put the color over the top without rinsing out the filler or repigmentizing color? Is this correct? if so why don't you rinse, then put color on? I'm going to be going from Redken color to Kadus and I'm loving your videos, you are a wonderful educator!
thank you for the kind words! By not rinsing the repigmentizer the permanent haircolor bonds with the repigmentizer giving the color longevity. THis is usually a practice that most redken stylist find different. Hope you enjoy!
Just wanted to let you know I attended your class at the ABCH summit this year, and I took the most knowledge away from your class. I am still in cosmetology school, but I love to watch your videos, not only because they are so informative, but most of our clients need corrective color. Thank you for sharing your knowlegde. Have a great day!
Thanks so much for your education. Our salon is changing from Goldwell to Kadus. I knew nothing about it and had a hard time finding any info out there. You have really helped! Thanks a bunch!!
thank you for the kind words! The 9/1 was 30 vol and the 7/7 was 30 because I was working over previously fervidol colored hair. I accidentally said 7/77 the second time I thought no one would notice lol. You get the prize for paying attention! Have fun with it...this is the one technique I use a lot especially coloring someone from light to dark back to their "natural" color. Happy Day!
yes there was color on her hair. We used fervidol brilliant on her prior along with the highlights so using a higher volume permanent color shifts the pigment. Hope that helps and always my pleasure. Happy Day!
@KadusGuy Was just wandering how many applications of Fervidol were on the hair prior to this technique? I wasn't aware that Demi colour could be lifted by permanent colour I thought the only option in this situation was bleach? Also what is the highest peroxide reccomended for use with Select Premium (not high lift)? By the way your videos a very inspiring :)

LOVE the result.
Just wondering if her hair had any color prior or only highlights?
Cause it appeared that she had color too, & how were you able to lift color with color. Unless the hair was virgin apart from the highlights.
Thanking u in advance:)
