FD's don't have reliability issues cause of their engine but do to other things that cause the engine to fail. One being the Sequential Twins and the millions of vacuum lines everywhere and another would be the shitty cooling system that they used for the FD it works but is not very efficient under high to medium boost lvls. The fist thing anyone with a FD should do is get reliability mods. Upgraded cooling system and Single turbo. Get a FC or FB for your first 7 then work your way to a FD.

its not the exhaust that does that, its the porting job they do....and from the sounds of it it sounds like a half bridge....AND on top of that the audio quality is bad, if you were actually that close, it would be a crap load deeper and make the floor vibrate around it...and you would have trouble hearing the person next to you....i found it fucking annoying that you compare this to a v8....its like apples and oranges, farts vs braps

I hope you have at least two jobs to keep up with the maintenance of this car. FD's are really hard to maintain. Change the Fuel filter on a FD ever 60k and tell me how much fun you have. I bet you won't be able to find it without looking at the FSM.
