  • @IGotPoopInMyMouth you must have "Z" envy then.

  • @KittyKranker There's not really a correct way to say it, you can't stand in the middle of time square and shout "You're all wrong!" It's wherever you live man.

  • @KittyKranker I'm sure you also realize that more people use the sound "zee" because there are more people in the US states then the puny little countries (we have more land and more people) that speak English that use the sound "zed". Majority always rules... so sorry you lose here. Such a stupid thing to bring up in the first place. Also the correct way to run a country is not by a Queen but by a powerful Black Man. Get it right over there would you...

  • @KittyKranker "Zed" is the correct pronunciation in the same way that Brits drive on the "correct" side of the road. It's not wrong or right, better or worse, it's just how that word developed in our two countries.

  • i have a question that i cant get answered, is it better to race with the dtc on or off in the z43.0i??????????

  • @luonq067 I had a BMW Z4 3.0 and a bmw 645 ci. In both cases, I turned dtc off in order to launch the car faster. In a drag race, DTC must be off.

  • @chrissoubibi there are three modes, one is where there is no light, one is with DTC lite, and one is where a triangle is lite, which one is best for dry road drag racing? thanks for the reply

  • @luonq067 The best mode is to deconnect everything by holding the DTC button. That what I did on my BMW 645. With a little practice you will be able to make incredible launches. BUt if you want to drive fast in corners and that you are not a professionnal driver, you should only drive in DTC light mode.

  • the Germans pronounce "z" as "tsett" so if you want to use the German pronunciation, you would say "tsett vier" but he is England-izing the name

  • HAD ONE PULL UP AT A RED LIGHT.HERE I AM IN A 79 ELCAMINO WITH A HEALTHY 350,WELL HE KEPT UP WITH ME 1ST-2ND I HIT 3RD AND ALL HE SAW WAS TAILLIGHTS HAHAHAHA

  • mmmmmmmmm ah.. great car

  • no way this is 0-60 in just 5 seconds...its got to be wayy less than that given the m3 is 4.8

  • @jabbour7 BMW has always been conservative with their figures. I'm sure it's well under 4.8.

  • The brits also call Zero - Naught.. so you really cant trust anything they say to be correct. They use more slang then Americans.

  • this vid is clearly a bit old...but if he is testing this car with that snow around he'll have soft winter tyres on... so the feeling won't be right. Unless one wants to test the winter capability, but he's on tarmac all the time. Winter tyres are mandatory in Germany at that time of the year. Oh well, he's excused, he comes from the UK.

  • @KittyKranker im aussie, we say both

  • Are you guys really arguing about the pronunciation of "Z". Are you serious? Is there any blog on Youtube that can actually stay on topic? Is the video about the letter Z or a car?

  • In Canada, we say "Zee" too. Love the little differences in the language. And Nice Car!

  • their right the z3 is a bit weak, a bit doggy at times but definitely fun to own!! The bmw z4 however is a completely diffferent animal. what the z4 lacks in looks it makes up in performance. I do wish however that there were more color choices interior and exterior wise.

  • @kwa8591

There is a world of choices out there, if you individually spec it at the time of purchase.

  • @KittyKranker Perhaps, you're right. I haven't heard the English-as-a-second-language people pronounce "z." So I'll assume you're right. Great point.

  • @KittyKranker We were talking about the English language and English-speaking people; not Latin, Spanish, etc... More English-speaking people in the world say "zee." This argument is futile.

  • @KittyKranker I know, but there are 300 million Americans. That greatly outnumbers the people who say "zed"

  • @KittyKranker I think most people in the world say "zee."

  • @KittyKranker Doesn't make us wrong.

  • @KittyKranker so you're saying zed-four sounds better than zee-four...

but then again, your forgetting one thing...

    "Who's Zed?"

    "Zed's dead...."

  • In Europe we pronounce it "zed" whether you guys like it or not

  • Real drivers car... nuff said

  • can i purchase the M roadster with an automatic transmission or does it only come in manual???

  • @ChristianPiano89 only comes in manual.

  • lovely car, but he is so imitating Jeremy Clarkson that he looks pathetic, so UN ORIGINAL !!!!!!

    Brilliant car thou !

  • ///M

  • About to go drive mine. Loved this car for all 4 years I have been driving it.

  • Great Car! Great Vid!

  • @KittyKranker yes that is true.. however the reason why most of the English speaking countries say "Zed" is that it was too confusing to differentiate between lower class people with a thick accent pronouncing "C" and "Z" so they eventually started pronouncing it "Zed"

  • @KittyKranker So instead of Aee Bee Cee, it should be Aed Bed Ced?

  • @KittyKranker i guess but i wouldn't say "correct" i would just say it is more historically known to be pronounced that from greece and then stolen by romans before being used by other countries from there forward

  • No way could I afford the $60k they wanted for a Blue M Coupe back in 2007. I just found mine with only 15000 miles for under $30k with a year of warranty and service! If you want one, get one before they are used up, there are only 1814 of them in North America. This one is cherry and it's mine. Cheers!

  • @m3tRiPiN Ok thats cool. Look on a more serious note, would you like to see my bottom....?

  • My mom has one of these, she loves it!

  • Z4 M and E46 M3 are both fantastic cars. So hard to choose between the two.

  • I've owned both, and currently drive a 2007 Z4M roady. Imo, there is NO comparison. The Z4M is faster, and is just 10k times more fun to drive. I've owned it for a little over a year now, and I'm always making excuses to drive it. The looks and comments it gets from other people far surpass the E46M3 I had before. Nobody cared about the M3, but everyone loves my little ///M! I have some 19" BBS CH Black Edition wheels on the car as well which help. :D

  • damn ur making me want one lol

  • I agree completely, I owned an 06 M3 and traded it for an 06 M roadster, having less weight makes a HUGE difference. Where the M3 thrilled me and impressed me, the M roadster outright scared me. I'm sold on this car!

  • @unknownally,

For sure man. ///M Power. haha

  • Love my Z4 M Roadster. Absolutely wonderful to flog hard on the backroads. A blast to drive at the limit. Wish the 155mph limiter was not on my US spec car.

  • Get the ESS reprogramming for $900. Takes the limit out and max's parameters. I have it.

  • get a chip and get it removed?

  • You should love it !! because you've alway's hated non-German or english car's !!!!!!!

  • Yeah but it aint a BMW is it. You gotta admit that JAP motors are a bit crappy

  • jap motors are best for reliabiilty

  • my brother had a 3.0l z4 which was fast enough with 230 bhp and they can be quite cheap second hand now. so go 4 that

  • hey can you help? should i get a Z4, Z3, Boxster, or Boxster S? because i am finding great prices

  • how old are you and what prices

  • z4 for sure

  • I've just seen a Z4M with 8 months warranty left and only 8.5k for £17,999, that is one hell of a lot of car for the money. You can get some good Boxster 's' in that price range too, but possibly not still with warranty.

  • I love this car... my fav...

  • my uncle has a 2007 brown z4m coupe, its fucking fast

  • Great car. Like the steering, easier to grip than my weener.

  • yes it is fast, but only thing i dont like t its the roof

  • the coup looks much better

  • All M models of BMW have big steering wheels if you havnt noticed is the M tradition

  • I wanna get one so bad!

  • it is a very fast car ive ben in it 343BRAKE HORSEPOWER

  • If your crude pig self exemplifies the Philipines, who'd want to come?

  • The woman, of course.

  • Exactly what kitty said.. American english is the only one which pronounce 'z' as zee.

The first time i came in the states i heard people saying zee, i really thought they were fuking idiots.

  • you guys are completely serious about the zee zed thing and the tomato tomato thing, anything to trash talk the states right? don't worry theres plenty of room for haters like you in this world as for me I'm proud to be from the most powerful nation in the world ;)

  • thumbs up to you

  • i smell an idiot!

  • dog fight, hooligan roadster... bla bla bla.

  • slow down wanker !!

  • geedunk13, your an idiot, the 335i isnt even close to as fast as a z4.

  • I want the 335i coup very nice and its just about as fats as a Z4 w/ a stick

  • why do they say zed 4, not zee 4. it sounds cool saying zed 4. Love the car, hope I can get one when I get my license

  • Here (Australia), and in the United Kingdom, we/they say 'zed'; it's mainly Americans who say 'zee', with the exception of when we say 'ZZ Top'! And yeah, superb car, I'm getting one when I garduate from registrar to consultant...

  • Canadian too say zed.

Its a big joke in Stargate SG1

  • hehe - because that's the "proper" English pronounciation not the Americanised version - but who cares, great car!

  • they are sayin zette just like zette06(z06)

  • Fabulous car!!!

I really like it as well.

I actually prefer it above a Carrera GT.

  • I just creamed myself. Listen to that engine! MMM. 340bhp straight six
