David only tells you the truth. When he refers to the Incan's construction as crumby he is only defining it by what it actually is. Don't say it isn't just to make them feel better.
Why does he seem to completely discount the possibility that the Incans suffered some devastation, and *lost* the knowledge of the megalithic techniques- that it was they who built the structures, but that they were thrust into a dark ages by cataclysm? (Though truly- the Incans themselves SAY they didn't build it... so, probably better evidence than "crumby" construction versus massive construction.)
Dear David Hatcher-Childress: Please stop calling Incan construction "crumby". Yeah- I get that you mean it's like small crumbs, crumbling, and less cohesive. But dude. Incans are awesome. XD And... they're standing right behind you. So pick a new word. I mean it. I love ya- but yer buggin' me.
they werent aliens they were humans, the inkas were very strong and powerfull people and those civilisations had amazing technology, human were always well advanced in technology.
I wish you showed more of the carved stones in the little museum. I would have loved the ancient maps shown. Those maps can help date the stones, depending on the accuracy.

..that humans were also "much stronger giants" which could explain the big doorways or that big throne we saw in the vid.. However two questions remain where the fk did they go? How did they build/cut/move those walls/stones ..not a single piece of evidence can be found. Say they were highly advanced.. saw the demise of earth by meteor impact in advance, realised they couldn't stop it, left earth taking everything (?). Meteor strikes earth explaining why some of the structures are destroyed.
perhaps the gravitational pull from the earth was not as strong as it is today... after all, it was recently found that there used to be two moons orbiting the earth before they crashed into each other.
you them tell us they didn't have the technology of the wheel, but they have anti..... gravity...... devices......
and yes i suppose it does seem easy to build a giant wall out of giant rocks, if you wasn't so, et sparked up his magic finger and they moved, common, look at Egypt. and they didn't have anti gravity devices.
can I get, some of what you got, it sounds like some goooooood shit!
@77nathan i say like the egytpions. shit loads of slaves lol
didnt they have the public volunteering to be sacrificed, all a preist would need to say is "build this and you will live forever in the afterlife" bang job done in 5 minutes!.
He keep saying it was somehow easy for them.. Wth IT WASN'T !!
My theory: Thousand of people bashing rocks with other rocks or primitive metal tools.
When human started agriculture they all of the sudden had lot of time to build. Agriculture leading to be sedentary, creating civilization who probably knew that:
small rocks = Can be destroyed quickly
big rock = Can last for ever
We lost lot of knowledge of the stone age era but don't try to fill the gaps with anti-gravity and stuff ! Wth ?!
my favourite is the stone block construction at the start, i work in construction and there's no way even today with all the hi tech equipmnent, they coul reproduce that level of finesse...amazing!
"Windsor Castle, Houses of Parliament"...Wow...pretty impressive. I'd be inclined to take your word over the Ancient Alien guys. Still, being possible and probable are two different things. A lot of the stuff they show is almost too weird to be true. The Nazca stuff for one thing...entire mountain tops sheared off...and no debris piles..the size and length of many of the lines. And why did they use such big stones when they did so well with much smaller, easier to cut & transport ones?
@chiltington those are some nice buildings you have on your resume dude.. but tell me for being such an experienced stonemason what the purpose of those lines in puma punku were made for? would you really think that they would spend all this time making them just to say "hey neighbours, look at the little perfect lines we made with the tiny holes that have a perfect distance btw them, put that in your pipe and smoke it." or do you have another explenation?
@chiltington im not leaving out the possibility that humans made this w/out any help from alien tech but i do believe that the power of the mind in ancient times were far stronger than our modern minds, giving them the x-factor to produce fantastic achievements like the topic we are discussing about. that being said i want to add that there are far more evidence than related to stones that gives us a pretty good idea we have been visited for a long time, i recommend research and connect the dots
@chiltington I never thought of the big stones in that way...maybe it was a competition....makes sense. If they turned big stone moving into a game, the leaders would be able to get a lot of work done and the people would enjoy themselves doing it. O.K. what's your opinion on the vetrification (not sure of spelling) on many of the stones, where rock appears melted and feels like glass? Not polished, but rough surfaces with this feature. Does this have to do with any stoneworking techniques?
@chiltington Totally true, however if you look at the evidence it seems that the farther back in time you go, the more difficult and large the jobs were. It's shown here, and at Puma Punku, as well as Egypt with the pyramids - the Giza pyramids are magnificent, but all the pyramids that came after it are very shoddy and poorly built.
13 commercials in an hour and a half??? seriously???/ why not just 2 or 3 decent length ones like 4 minutes or something? cuz they know you will just tune out half of one thats that long. lol,,,smart arseholes,,,thats what they are.
Like bill hicks said,,,,if your in advertising do all of us a favor and go kill yourself,,,no really kill yourself,,,theres no joke here, go kill yourself,,just kidding,,,no really kill yourslef.
@ninjaisland007 i dont know if childress has more of these type of videos but, i do know that history channel has a series where they talk about these type of ancient techs, its called ancient aliens,i dont know if you know about that show, but i thnik is the most amazing interesting show ever produced by the history channel, matter of a fact you can find the ancient aliens show here on you tube, just type in the name. they got so far two seasons of the show, and they workin on a third one
@ninjaisland007 Yes, we're in the process of releasing the whole series on DVD and iTunes. We will keep everyone posted. Perhaps eventually we will post to YT the rest of the series.
@MrSoggyolive Already I am awake and I'm loving the feeling of Love, Peace and Harmony but I fear that those who haven't awoken will stay in the matrix reality that they have confided themselves in, not being able to move on or Evolve Spiritually, Consciously and Physically.
Soon you and me will leave this world and enter the 5th Dimension, where things such as Time won't mean anything to us as we will live in the center of it never aging but growing spiritually in the presence of God.
Two more things: 1. Skeletons are not mummies; 2. Wilson was playing with your head. There's no such treasure there. He was having fun at your expense. Sorry to break it to you. :-/
Words for the day: "megalithic", "crummy" and "Ollantaytambo". :-)
Oh, and 2:38 or so: "It has many great doorways, and super... w..w... walls..." (he should've gone with that tiny little annoying feeling pecking at his insides that told him to say something else, really really quick).
I get a kick out of watching people like this. :-) And of course, I'm sure I'd do no better. ;-) Gorgeous scenery at least, whether you think there's anything to "ancient tech" or not. :-)
accoriding to Wilson the history of Peru is very different as known from people that aren't actually Wilson...if in any doubt of this ...please...just ask Wilson
For those interested, research the Dinosaur figurines that date back to 2500 years ago found in Acambaro, Mexico by Waldemar Julsrud, that were later confirmed to be 100% authentic by Carlos Perea (former director of the National museum of anthropology in Mexico city) and Charles Hapgood (professor of anthropology/New Hampshire), the University of Pennsylvania and the Government of Mexico. These figurines are very similar to the Ica stones. We are not being told the full scope of our history!!
I speak Spanish, in fact I'm even Peruvian. I just wanted to note that David didn't fully translate correctly and forgot to add that Arturo's Uncle (private museum) worked with Dr. Cabrera. He also said that the fact he has a stone like Cabrera's reinforces that Cabrera for sure had genuine stones but that he wouldn't vouch all of them were.
The people who created the line were stargazers. The figures and line are a huge map of the universe or soar system. (going out on a limb here...) the lines represent wormholes, and the figure are constilatiins.
See, the thing the Nazca lines remind me of is a MEMORIAL PARK where figures are commissioned in honour of fallen people. The memorials may have been commissioned with astrological significance, yet there seems to be more evidence to say there was a magnetic resonance to that area too.
Totally mind boggling. I'm blown away. This never would have been made by human hands. The size of these stones, transported by thousands of workers down the mountain? No way. The truth should come out. We are not alone. ET was responsible.
Europeans never credit the NYC subway system, the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, Greece or Rome to aliens, only the things they r not responsible for building like Egypt, Manchu Picchu etc.! I wonder why? There is not 1 shred of evidence 4 alien help in man's architecture, yet people always bring up ET's when talking about ancient megaliths. Beings come to earth to help humanity build structures but there r no images or stories of these prolific kind benevolent architects, strange.
Awesome!!!!! I want and I NEED more!!!!! :-( I hate mainstream teLIEvision!! Cold hard FACTS and true knowledge/wisdom is the only way we will understand why we are here and where we came from!! "Faith" and "belief" is horsesh!t, REALITY is everything!! (sorry for ranting LOL)
ha a brill idea maybe they were giants or lots larger and stronger than us so these stones would have been lots easier to move for them because they were small and light to them???
MAINSTREAM HISTORY IS BULLSHIT NOTHING BUT LIES.EVOLUTION IS FAKE AND ANCIENT MAN WAS MORE HIGH TECH THAN PRESENT DAY MAN AND GOD IS A EXTRA TERRESTRIAL BLACK MAN
I think the pre historic people used dinosaurs to move those rocks and stuff . They must have trained them . I bet dino's can move that kind of rocks .
I would also say that the ancients tapped into the aquifer... and the Inca found that out... the entry into the aquifer was reacquired by the Inca... but they did not create them... there was a time when the Inca grew crops in the desert.... they had access to the aquifer.... but they did not ... TAP THAT... themselves...if you read between the lines... well... you are definitely looking something from a by gone age... that the Inca's.. like us... re found... if you will... think about it
Ok, this is very interesting and captivating about how the blocks were built, maybe, but out nowhere why would the man say "it must be anti gravity, levitation? Many things he says require deeper validation
It occures to me, if you could build big you would.. .....it be a time saver for sure... so... with out a doubt.. they had something we do not.... carry ten thousand blocks... or float one... time saver.
The anchients lived better then you would think... there was a time when the climate was right down there. ... i think they lived real well... simply and in harmony with mother earth... =]
just as they smelted the metal for the Key's and poured them into place, I think they did the same with the Stone. I think they whoever they are because people didn't do this alone, Saw the Earth as a big resonator or type of Engine and Stone was use as Resonators or Energy Transference.
Great documentary which goes a bit more in depth than the history channels, ancient alien series. Its obvious humanity and our earth has an untold or hidden history. What really gets me is all the people who "Can't See The Forest For The Trees!". For example the folks who are like "Good information but unprofessional presentation". Really? Is that what your worried about? You try being a little out of shape and start climbing mountains....You people need to wake up and see the big picture here..
Serpent on the wall doesn't seem carved. It looks as if a metallic serpent was pushed into the wall leaving an impression. ( the wall would have to be in a plasteline like state somehow )
@statusmaximus Both Methusalah, Enoch and Noah lived for several hundreths of years, so clearly something has happened in the aftertime. The Bible even says we were talking the same language. (which might be telepathy) Maybe the you are right. Maybe the Inca people got too smart, so the had to "remove" them ^^ . lol
Who knows? If there really were extraterrestrials with 1 million years ahead of us in technology, then there is nothing that would seem impossible. They would be like gods to us.
It's hillarious how we keep seeing people trying to explain these strange megalithic buildings from the perspective of our technology. Perhaps we loose sight of the fact that our technological advancement is not really the only possible path of advancement that human civilization could have taken?! Maybe in the past people have reached enlightenment through brain power. It's a fact that we never reach our real brain potential throughout our lifetime, no matter how smart we believe we get.
I wonder what metal or material did they use for those H-shaped clamps? I find it hard to believe that someone that has the knowledge of perfectly fitting randomly-shaped 100t+ stones will think that a tiny titanium/steel/iron/bronze/copper H key will ever manage to hold tight two of those 100t stones if they decided to move for various reasons!
Arturo in Ica, is saying that his stone is confirming Mr. Cabrera's rocks, due to the fact that he found it and digged it independently from the Cabrera's.
How did they build with such massive blocks of stone? It's simple. If you read the ancient Sumerian, And look at the depictions of the Anunnaki, it is clear that they were giants by our standards. Simply put, these blocks were not as large to them. It even talks about them in the bible, when it speaks of the Nephilim, and the quote" there were giants on the earth in those days"
I love this documentary! Really! Especially that bit where he pronounces this one city as sexy woman! And there is just one tiny, tiny other bit where I really had to laugh. At 1:03:40 onwards, those "fossilised" dinosaurs. Really. With those round pebbles placed to pretend they are eyes! Can anyone belief they are not fake? I mean anyone who has seen vertebrae before? But apart from that, really great show! Thanks for posting!
Just an awesome documentary. Clearly, these stones have been cut. If anyone doubts this, punch in 'puma puncu' on youtube, and you'll see yet again, huge CUT interlocking stones. You'll also see that mysterious T-shaped keystone imprint at the edge of the Blocks. David calls that the print of the "Megalithic Builders". Great upload UFOTVstudios.

I had a dream where I was visited by a grey alien. I saw him at my back yard and he told me if I wanted to go with him. if I wanted to learn their ways, but in returned I would never be able to come back to earth, I of course said yes. He told me the reason they dont teach humans their technology is because they would use it for war, makes sense. Wwhen I got on the ship I said my goodbyes to my family and I was off. It felt so real. When I woke up i was disssapointed. I swear it was real.
Hi, I am the one always complaining about the background music being too loud. Well this video is EXCELLENT!! The music is at the right volume and there is no music while the speaker speaks, great, great job!!!!! I really enjoyed it and I gave my thumbs up!!! Thank you!!!
@nephozo this is total nonsense. And if your thinking in terms of lifting those stones with a crane? Forget it. Those stones weren't lifted into position. They were pushed and pulled.
@peng1965a those blocks started out as irregular shaped pieces from the quarry. They were then squared off. No giant saws required. And precision? If you cut a block one foot square, or ten feet square, makes no difference.
@chiltington Cut with what? Stone tomahawks? Soft copper, gold and maybe bronze? They didn't have precision squares to check angles, if they did, how did they make precision squares? You underestimate the difficulty of what was done. This video isn't particularly good. Go watch a few videos on "Puma Punku" and let me know what you think then.
If it was achieved through the use of an extra-terrestrial technology it would be no surprise that building errors occurred as it was still done by human hand.
whoever these builders were, they didn't even have straws to clutch. Not much grows at that height, not nearly enough to feed an army of builders. Then how did they cut these blocks? Some are limestone but others are diorite, a type of granite, which can only be cut by diamond-tip or powerful lazer. Then there's transport? 100 tonne+ blocks, we're led to believe there was no wheel, yet there's evidence they did use wheel both here and in Egypt. Did u watch this entire vid?
@Paddyllfixit only got 500 characters. Granite shears naturally on fault lines. Gives flat surface. This is your "face". Shape top and sides with iron(?) or granite hammers. Diamond blades/lasers not required. Take template from stones your are laying onto. Transfer shape to base of the stone your laying and cut to suit.
Transport. Timber rollers/sleds or greased rock pavement? Lots of manpower/rope.Levers. Give me a fulcrum and a long lever I can move heavy stone. Multiply that by 1,000 men.
oh so that's it then. thanks for enlightening me and the many researchers who were baffled by this enigma before your revelation lol. Do you seriously think that that was how it was done? As simple as that?
@Paddyllfixit Yes. It's as simple as that. With all due respect to yourself and other researchers, you are not stonemasons. You have little knowledge of stonemasonry techniques.
I believe in ET. I absolutely love the idea of alien technology. It's just not happening for me in this instance.
Believe what you want to believe. But please don't close your mind to the idea of humans acheiving great things without outside help.
you may very well be right my friend in that human genius alone built these structures. Who knows? But my own personal take on it, considering the transport and lifting of these massive weight blocks, is that some form of advanced techs seem more probable than just merely possible. And "joining the dots" from the researchers of the different facets of ufology, ancient scripture, archaeological artifact anomalies, Intervention theory, etc, it all points to an advanced tech. ET???
@Paddyllfixit Well I'm all up for extraterrestial theories of all sorts.
But I kind of resent the closed minds of some people who are devotees of any kind of Childress-like presentations of "facts".
For example...people are assuming that some kind of cranes were used to lift those huge stones. Wrong. If you look at the video, you will see a huge stone which hadn't been used. It's sitting on a bed of smaller stone blocks. This gives you a clue as to how they were raised. Not lifted.
@Paddyllfixit Me, in this instance. My "surmising" is based on knowledge. For example, I know how to raise heavy stones into position without the aid of a crane. And it's simple, once you know how. All the stonework that you see in the video. I've done similar things, albeit on a much smaller scale.
Some flawed thinking from Childress. He examines a stone and concludes that it's been laying there for a thousand years, because there is so much lichen growing on it. Wrong.
@chiltington So how do you surmise they got the giant stones out of the rockface from the quarry, down the mountain, miles to the river, across the river, then up the mountain to be positioned in place?
Please tell how you move heavy stone in this manner without a crane as you claim to know?
@chiltington oh no im not implying alien intervention, more like forgotten technology. If we only operate in the bounds of what is known we would become stagnant. If you really understand what these people have done here, when it was done and how it is replicated all over the planet at a time when we thought man was scratching on cave walls, you should be amazed.
@chiltington Yes i give them the credit they rarely receive which makes it hard for me to believe they would dedicate generations of people to build in this fashion, it could not be military or defensive reasons as they would of been too vunerable during the construction.
@chiltington Also if cranage or leverage was used at the quarry and the site to lift and lower i would expect to see remains and evidence of the crane base which must of been very rigid and the counter weights as the cranes would have had to be destroyed in place after construction
@chiltington Yeah, your right, you cut the stone, the just gently push the 150 ton stone, it falls without cracking, or maybe some of your pals catch it, and then you spend 2000 years transporting it inch by inch the way you said...and how do you transport it over the river? Dude... shut up please.
@TheTecike Well thanks for that deeply-thought-out and well-reasoned response. Der.
And the river thing.....how about a man-made ford made from stone blocks with plenty of gaps for the water to pass through? Just a thought. Maybe one day you'll actually acheive an original thought of your very own.
@chiltington of course it was built by humans. the question is how? are you really saying that those perfectly straight lines with the tiny holes arranged in them in the Puma Punku ruins can be made with the common tools that was used back in those days? then tell me what kind of tools was that. again you would be answering questions that alot of people have been asking. watch the video i recommended to you and think about it.
@gummiton We don't know what tools they had back then.
David Childress says that molten metal was poured into those T cuts. That being the case (or not) maybe they had iron. Iron hammers ideal. If not then the stones could be cut or "dressed" using just stone of a similar, or higher density. All hugely time-cosuming, of course. Perfectly straight lines are easy to mark with a length of dusty twine. Drill holes with twine, too. Loop around sharp stone, attach to bow, move bow back and forth.
@chiltington I agree...made by humans, but not the ones usually give credit. I'm no stonemason, I'm a machinist and I've done a fair amount of carpentry as well as other types of construction. Could you, as a stonemason, using only primitive tools, replicate any of the construction seen at Puma Punku without leaving tool marks, without writing anything down (the Imaras had no writing, probably no real mathmatics), in any reasonable amount of time?
@peng1965a Yes I could replicate some of that stonework without the use of modern tools. And without leaving toolmarks. And without writing anything down.
I'm not sure what would be considered a reasonable amount of time.
I can't think of anything I would like to do less. It would be mind-numbingly boring.
I hope I don't get a lot of responses to this. I'm already disgusing it with paddy'llfixit, gummiton and yourself :o)
@chiltington It's all for fun, dude. If you say you could do it, then I believe you. I've never been to any of these places, so I have to take what these "investigators" say by their word also. I'm not big on the Alien theroy, but the "Ancient Alien" guys show the best stuff. I know it's not easy holding a .005 thousanths of a inch tolerance on a large piece of steel using modern machining techniques. According to some of these "experts" some of these stone pieces do.
@chiltington Part 2) I'm not asking about the basic retangular bricks and blocks...I mean the more intricate pieces with multiple inside angles and in particular, the often photgraphed block with the "near perfect" 1/4" channel with "precision drilled" holes all the way across the entire block. Georgio T...whatever the hell his name is, interviewed some big time stone mason in Calif. He said he wouldn't want to have to try & replicate many of the pieces even with modern tools.
@peng1965a I'm enjoying the chat. It's nice to talk with people who are open-minded.
The .005thou tolerance thing....if you could show me some proof of this, I will be converted. Maybe the "experts" are confusing tolerance with the gaps between stones? Would certainly be .005thou (or less) in the places where the stones actually touch. Which would be a few mm along every thousand mm, at a guess.
The intricate pieces and channels.....I can think of more than one way this could be acheived.

..that humans were also "much stronger giants" which could explain the big doorways or that big throne we saw in the vid.. However two questions remain where the fk did they go? How did they build/cut/move those walls/stones ..not a single piece of evidence can be found. Say they were highly advanced.. saw the demise of earth by meteor impact in advance, realised they couldn't stop it, left earth taking everything (?). Meteor strikes earth explaining why some of the structures are destroyed.

anti.......gravity......devices......
you them tell us they didn't have the technology of the wheel, but they have anti..... gravity...... devices......
and yes i suppose it does seem easy to build a giant wall out of giant rocks, if you wasn't so, et sparked up his magic finger and they moved, common, look at Egypt. and they didn't have anti gravity devices.
can I get, some of what you got, it sounds like some goooooood shit!
iaevilmonkey 6 months ago
@iaevilmonkey Agree with the anti-gravity idea, it's a little silly. Do you have a theory of how they did it?

didnt they have the public volunteering to be sacrificed, all a preist would need to say is "build this and you will live forever in the afterlife" bang job done in 5 minutes!.
iaevilmonkey 6 months ago
He keep saying it was somehow easy for them.. Wth IT WASN'T !!
My theory: Thousand of people bashing rocks with other rocks or primitive metal tools.
When human started agriculture they all of the sudden had lot of time to build. Agriculture leading to be sedentary, creating civilization who probably knew that:
small rocks = Can be destroyed quickly
big rock = Can last for ever
We lost lot of knowledge of the stone age era but don't try to fill the gaps with anti-gravity and stuff ! Wth ?!

And why did they use such big stones when they did so well with much smaller, easier to cut & transport ones?
peng1965a 7 months ago
@peng1965a Human nature dictates that we like to do difficult things.
We like to prove something can be acheived. And we like showing off the results.
To me, those huge stones are making a statement. A bit like owning a bigger house than your neighbour. Or owning a bigger, better car.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington those are some nice buildings you have on your resume dude.. but tell me for being such an experienced stonemason what the purpose of those lines in puma punku were made for? would you really think that they would spend all this time making them just to say "hey neighbours, look at the little perfect lines we made with the tiny holes that have a perfect distance btw them, put that in your pipe and smoke it." or do you have another explenation?
gummiton 7 months ago
@chiltington im not leaving out the possibility that humans made this w/out any help from alien tech but i do believe that the power of the mind in ancient times were far stronger than our modern minds, giving them the x-factor to produce fantastic achievements like the topic we are discussing about. that being said i want to add that there are far more evidence than related to stones that gives us a pretty good idea we have been visited for a long time, i recommend research and connect the dots
gummiton 7 months ago
@chiltington I never thought of the big stones in that way...maybe it was a competition....makes sense. If they turned big stone moving into a game, the leaders would be able to get a lot of work done and the people would enjoy themselves doing it. O.K. what's your opinion on the vetrification (not sure of spelling) on many of the stones, where rock appears melted and feels like glass? Not polished, but rough surfaces with this feature. Does this have to do with any stoneworking techniques?
peng1965a 7 months ago
@chiltington Totally true, however if you look at the evidence it seems that the farther back in time you go, the more difficult and large the jobs were. It's shown here, and at Puma Punku, as well as Egypt with the pyramids - the Giza pyramids are magnificent, but all the pyramids that came after it are very shoddy and poorly built.

Totally mind boggling. I'm blown away. This never would have been made by human hands. The size of these stones, transported by thousands of workers down the mountain? No way. The truth should come out. We are not alone. ET was responsible.
fredg04 7 months ago
Europeans never credit the NYC subway system, the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, Greece or Rome to aliens, only the things they r not responsible for building like Egypt, Manchu Picchu etc.! I wonder why? There is not 1 shred of evidence 4 alien help in man's architecture, yet people always bring up ET's when talking about ancient megaliths. Beings come to earth to help humanity build structures but there r no images or stories of these prolific kind benevolent architects, strange.

How did they build with such massive blocks of stone? It's simple. If you read the ancient Sumerian, And look at the depictions of the Anunnaki, it is clear that they were giants by our standards. Simply put, these blocks were not as large to them. It even talks about them in the bible, when it speaks of the Nephilim, and the quote" there were giants on the earth in those days"

nephozo 7 months ago
@nephozo this is total nonsense. And if your thinking in terms of lifting those stones with a crane? Forget it. Those stones weren't lifted into position. They were pushed and pulled.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington So...how did they cut 100 ton blocks with precision?
peng1965a 7 months ago
@peng1965a those blocks started out as irregular shaped pieces from the quarry. They were then squared off. No giant saws required. And precision? If you cut a block one foot square, or ten feet square, makes no difference.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington Cut with what? Stone tomahawks? Soft copper, gold and maybe bronze? They didn't have precision squares to check angles, if they did, how did they make precision squares? You underestimate the difficulty of what was done. This video isn't particularly good. Go watch a few videos on "Puma Punku" and let me know what you think then.
peng1965a 7 months ago
@peng1965a Actually those stones were not cut with magnificent precision.
Impressiive. But not precise.
Just imagine that those ancient people had access to "alien technology/machinery".
They would have been able to cut those stones so they were all exactly the same size. No deviation. No missing corners.
And I do NOT underestimate the difficulty of what was done. Fantastic acheivement. Human willpower.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington
If it was achieved through the use of an extra-terrestrial technology it would be no surprise that building errors occurred as it was still done by human hand.
Paddyllfixit 7 months ago
@Paddyllfixit I think you're clutching at straws here.
Have a look at my previous input. I'm a stonemason. I have seen nothing so far which can't be acheived through human effort.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington
whoever these builders were, they didn't even have straws to clutch.
Paddyllfixit 7 months ago
@Paddyllfixit only got 500 characters. Granite shears naturally on fault lines. Gives flat surface. This is your "face". Shape top and sides with iron(?) or granite hammers. Diamond blades/lasers not required. Take template from stones your are laying onto. Transfer shape to base of the stone your laying and cut to suit.
Transport. Timber rollers/sleds or greased rock pavement? Lots of manpower/rope.Levers. Give me a fulcrum and a long lever I can move heavy stone. Multiply that by 1,000 men.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington
oh so that's it then. thanks for enlightening me and the many researchers who were baffled by this enigma before your revelation lol. Do you seriously think that that was how it was done? As simple as that?
Paddyllfixit 6 months ago
@Paddyllfixit Yes. It's as simple as that. With all due respect to yourself and other researchers, you are not stonemasons. You have little knowledge of stonemasonry techniques.
I believe in ET. I absolutely love the idea of alien technology. It's just not happening for me in this instance.
Believe what you want to believe. But please don't close your mind to the idea of humans acheiving great things without outside help.
chiltington 6 months ago
@chiltington
you may very well be right my friend in that human genius alone built these structures. ET???
Paddyllfixit 6 months ago
@Paddyllfixit Well I'm all up for extraterrestial theories of all sorts.
But I kind of resent the closed minds of some people who are devotees of any kind of Childress-like presentations of "facts".
For example...people are assuming that some kind of cranes were used to lift those huge stones. Wrong. If you look at the video, you will see a huge stone which hadn't been used. It's sitting on a bed of smaller stone blocks. This gives you a clue as to how they were raised. Not lifted.
chiltington 6 months ago
@chiltington So who's better at surmising, you or Childress? ;-)
Paddyllfixit 6 months ago
@Paddyllfixit Me, in this instance. My "surmising" is based on knowledge. For example, I know how to raise heavy stones into position without the aid of a crane. And it's simple, once you know how. All the stonework that you see in the video. I've done similar things, albeit on a much smaller scale.
Some flawed thinking from Childress. He examines a stone and concludes that it's been laying there for a thousand years, because there is so much lichen growing on it. Wrong.
chiltington 6 months ago
@chiltington So how do you surmise they got the giant stones out of the rockface from the quarry, down the mountain, miles to the river, across the river, then up the mountain to be positioned in place?
Please tell how you move heavy stone in this manner without a crane as you claim to know?
javelinfang 6 months ago
@javelinfang Manpower. And cleverness. And plenty of time.
Why is it that people doubt the ability of the ancients to acheive great things (without alien intervention)?
The Mayans, for example, were better than the Greeks and Romans at math. They had a symbol for zero.
I've already covered the possible methods of moving huge stones over long distances.
To raise stones into position you simply move the centre of gravity. Again, i've already explained how. Check my posts.
chiltington 6 months ago
@chiltington oh no im not implying alien intervention, more like forgotten technology. If we only operate in the bounds of what is known we would become stagnant. If you really understand what these people have done here, when it was done and how it is replicated all over the planet at a time when we thought man was scratching on cave walls, you should be amazed.
javelinfang 6 months ago
@javelinfang I'm very impressed, but not amazed, at what the ancients acheived.
I think that we, as a species, don't give ourselves enough credit for our ingenuity. Something which we inherited from the ancients.
Forgotten technology? Maybe. But I don't go along with any theories involving lasers or power tools (unless water/wind-powered) or anti-gravity.

@chiltington Yes i give them the credit they rarely receive which makes it hard for me to believe they would dedicate generations of people to build in this fashion, it could not be military or defensive reasons as they would of been too vunerable during the construction.
javelinfang 6 months ago
@javelinfang The military/defensive thing never crossed my mind. Interesting thought.
I think they did things the hard way purely to show that they could do it. A bit like people climbing mountains.
There could also be an element of human vanity in there. "Look at us. We've got bigger stones than you lot".
:o)

@chiltington Also if cranage or leverage was used at the quarry and the site to lift and lower i would expect to see remains and evidence of the crane base which must of been very rigid and the counter weights as the cranes would have had to be destroyed in place after construction
javelinfang 6 months ago
@javelinfang You definately don't need a crane to get those huge stones in position.
Take one huge stone. Add lots of people with props, wedges and ropes.
Push and pull the stone so it leans to one side (you have now altered the centre of gravity).
Now pack smaller stones underneath it.
Now repeat the process from the opposite direction.
You have now RAISED the stone. Without LIFTING it.
Continue the process until desired height reached.
Afterwards, clear away the smaller stones.

@chiltington Yeah, your right, you cut the stone, the just gently push the 150 ton stone, it falls without cracking, or maybe some of your pals catch it, and then you spend 2000 years transporting it inch by inch the way you said...and how do you transport it over the river? Dude... shut up please.
TheTecike 5 months ago
@TheTecike Well thanks for that deeply-thought-out and well-reasoned response. Der.
And the river thing.....how about a man-made ford made from stone blocks with plenty of gaps for the water to pass through? Just a thought. Maybe one day you'll actually acheive an original thought of your very own.
Now I shall shut up, as requested.

@peng1965a Peng, you make a lot of assumptions.
No squares? Soft metals?
You can make a decent square out of wood. I should know. I'm a carpenter, and a stonemason.
Metals.....you don't need them to shape stone. You just need stone. Preferably harder than the stone you're cutting.
I've had a look at some "Puma Punku" vids. The same thing applies. Built by humans.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington of course it was built by humans. the question is how? are you really saying that those perfectly straight lines with the tiny holes arranged in them in the Puma Punku ruins can be made with the common tools that was used back in those days? then tell me what kind of tools was that. again you would be answering questions that alot of people have been asking. watch the video i recommended to you and think about it.
gummiton 7 months ago
@gummiton We don't know what tools they had back then.
David Childress says that molten metal was poured into those T cuts. That being the case (or not) maybe they had iron. Iron hammers ideal. If not then the stones could be cut or "dressed" using just stone of a similar, or higher density. All hugely time-cosuming, of course. Perfectly straight lines are easy to mark with a length of dusty twine. Drill holes with twine, too. Loop around sharp stone, attach to bow, move bow back and forth.
chiltington 7 months ago
@chiltington I agree...made by humans, but not the ones usually give credit. I'm no stonemason, I'm a machinist and I've done a fair amount of carpentry as well as other types of construction. Could you, as a stonemason, using only primitive tools, replicate any of the construction seen at Puma Punku without leaving tool marks, without writing anything down (the Imaras had no writing, probably no real mathmatics), in any reasonable amount of time?
peng1965a 7 months ago

According to some of these "experts" some of these stone pieces do.
peng1965a 7 months ago
@chiltington Part 2) I'm not asking about the basic retangular bricks and blocks...I mean the more intricate pieces with multiple inside angles and in particular, the often photgraphed block with the "near perfect" 1/4" channel with "precision drilled" holes all the way across the entire block. Georgio T...whatever the hell his name is, interviewed some big time stone mason in Calif. He said he wouldn't want to have to try & replicate many of the pieces even with modern tools.
peng1965a 7 months ago
@peng1965a I'm enjoying the chat. It's nice to talk with people who are open-minded.
The .005thou tolerance thing....if you could show me some proof of this, I will be converted. Maybe the "experts" are confusing tolerance with the gaps between stones? Would certainly be .005thou (or less) in the places where the stones actually touch. Which would be a few mm along every thousand mm, at a guess.
The intricate pieces and channels.....I can think of more than one way this could be acheived.
