Not saying its the same, I'm saying that they don't deserve to be overly judged, discriminated, beaten or abused for their relationships. And it is a huge falsity that all Gays hate Christians, I would say that 90% of my homosexual friends are Christian. Jesus never had an anti-gay agenda. Love your neighbor, God is the ultimate judge, not us
Are you stating that homosexual relationships are the same as a man and a woman? If so, hypothetically, if the world was 100% homosexual, how long would our civilization last? Children need a father and a mother to have that biological balance that only they would be able to provide.
The term "Homophobia" is a bigoted ad-hominem attack by pro-gay activist to marginalize and subsequently label anybody that doesn't agree with homosexuals or their militant agenda based on degenerant sexual behavior and ammoral ideology. Should we label homosexuals "Moralphobes" because they partake in perverceted sexual acts outside MORAL NORMS? Or how "Christianphobes" since the majority destest Christ because the bible abhors gays? Why is labeling a one way street with the gay community?
You go on about homophobia but you think nothing of being prejudice against Christians and straight people. I'm both Christian and straight and don't think or act like this video describes. Do you realize most cases of violence against gays is domestic violence committed by other gay people? In fact you have nothing else factually but this Matthew Shepard kid. Which happens but is RARE in this day and age.
I love how everyone thinks that I am gay and atheist from this video. I am straight and Christian, I go to church every Sunday and am a full time member of the governing board of my church. This ppt turned video is just one story, just a project done for an assignment a long time ago. But it keeps people talking.
I'm gonna be nit-picky, but this is a video on homophobia, not heterosexism. There is a distinct difference between the two terms that I think should be noted. Very good video regardless.
I wished that Jesus had said something about gay people, one way or the other since our culture is so wrapped up in the bible.
A couple of weeks later, I got my wish, and what I found out is that everyone in the New Testament is gay. Nobody's living the straight life style, nobody's married, and there's all kind of gay innuendos.
Jesus would have called us eunuchs in that time period and in Matthew 19:12 he says we're born that way, etc.
Slightly different subject, but I couldn't help but think of it when I saw people holding up the religious signs: these so-called religious people pay so much attention to Leviticus 13 (the part with all the sexual things) but ultimately ignore Leviticus 11 (the part with the food restrictions, ex: no pork, no shellfish). People pick and choose so much.
#2 I never said I was a pro, how well done the video is doesn't change its message
#3 It was a project for a graduate class, and although its hard to see in the video, they lines below it show where the information is from, all credible sources
#4 There are more examples than Matthew Shepherd in the video. You need more examples of hate to decide its a bad thing?
#5 I'm not saying you have to agree with homosexuality, but violence and outrage is never the answer
Awesome. Good job. I put it on my blog called Not a Good Queer on blogspot. Their is a blog called Not a Good Queer or anything else which is a hate blog dedicated to the hate of me.
thanks! it was supposed to be a video with interviews, but the communications majors would let us use their equipment. so we turned to the internet for images and stories instead. if i ever get the chance, i would love to make one again

i just am unable to understand how someone can hate someone else they've never met so blindly based on a subject they take no time to understand.
