I've always loved this series . Shere Khan was always my favorite <3 I was sad to see him killed off even if it did happen in the original novel. Moreso than the Disney version, which is also charming in its own right.

I watched this as a kid.. this and the Russian animated "Maugli". Wonder if they still hold up to the nostalgia - I need to find these and watch them again !

The musics from this obe were also forever imprinted in my brain. There was a time when I was humming this Shere Khan theme and started wondering where it was from.. coincidentally found it now (ages later though).
