  • the models smile is absolutely amazing =]

  • that girl's hot!

  • Shes beautiful. Great video!

  • AMO PESSOAS QUE ASSUMEM SEU CABELO AFRO, MUITO BOM...

  • I did not like how she was combing her hair lol other than that It came out nice :)

  • Wow!!! This has been the best tutorial video for 2-strand twists I have seen yet. Well done! Thanks.

  • The baby buttercreme and super sweetback treatment seem like great products for my super thick 4b/4a hair. Maybe one day after college, I will have enough mulah to try them both :- ) I fall more and more in love with my hair everyday! Seeing others doing the same makes it even better!

  • Ok so I'm black and my hair is shoulder length and it's naturally straight, no relaxer. could I still do this with my hair??

  • @tyty125652 I don't see why not, when my hair was relaxed and I braided it the curls would stay put.

  • @tyty125652 no

  • she looked great with the twists in her hair too

  • this seems like too much heat to me. But hey. Maybe that's just me

  • @iHateNazz I agree

  • This is too much damn heat, man !

  • man black women are so pretty

  • well i must have 4z hair because a comb cant pass through my hair wet

  • @wcallisa22 comb from TIP to root while its wet with a wide tooth comb. hold it at the tips, start at the tips combing out up to the root with a wide tooth comb. i have 4c thick ass hair. all u need is a spray bottle and wide tooth comb ;) lol we got this

  • @wcallisa22 Oh my goodness. You had me laughing so hard, but I am exactly the same way. It's much easier to deal with my hair wet, but it's still a pain. I love to watch videos about natural hair on Youtube, but they are rarely helpful because most of the girls (especially the popular ones) have loosely coiled or curly hair. And then they go on and on about their hair type being 4a or 4b or whatever and I'm like well I don't what other types there are, but my hair is not like that lol.

  • i love her hair texture, its is divine! i am debbie downer though, should have sorted out her fill in if she was going to be demo-ing a hair style.just to look more polished

  • Can this same look be achieved without the heat?

  • im a man and i love doin this to my hair

  • im a man..and i love doing this to my fro.....i got the most compliments...only thing is...i dont aly thast muc heat on it

  • #TFT

  • i am so doing that......

  • damn, i got hair just like hers!! PROUD TO BE 4 C!

  • @x0xqueendivax0x thats right girl!

  • Excited about seeing a 4c model. will be buying this product.

  • I too am glad for a 4C hair model. It is pretty dishartening when your trying to obtain a look that isn't for your hair type. I have been using Kinky Curly hair custard... It is the only product that I've found to keep my hair from looking SOOO dry. The curls shrink up after the first night.... I don't know how to prevent that. I hope to post my first video soon. Stay tunned!!

  • Wow finally a video with a hair model who's hair looks like mine. I get tired of all the other channels with the naturals with the curls that are " visible". My curls don't form without gel/product. Also my hair doesn't hang, it grows straight up...and my hair is longer than the model's. Hooray for 4C hair models.

  • @grownazzwoman

You sound just like me. Do you think our hair will look longer as it gets longer?

  • Yes I finally found someone with my hair type. I always do wash and goes on my hair, which are I hear is not always healthy. I've never done a twist out but I will try it today...in fact, this morning to be exact. :) and I absolutely love the miss jessies buttercreme. It's my staple moisturizer.

  • Thanks KPoole I been looking for something to do twists with

  • i wonder if i should had started reads with 2 strand twist it looks good on her though

  • How long did this entire process take? My guess is all day...

  • who cares if the product is not 100 % natural not all naturals are all about using natural products i just dont like the fact that with this product u MUST use water on hair each time i dont like weting my hair so often

  • @meyoualike3111 its not that with this product u must wet your hair....water is essential no matter what product you use. maybe you should try it. water before styling combing make any product you use, retain more moister. and help reatin length and minimize breakage wan combing.

  • wow finally some one with my hair lol, was starting to wonder if i was so uniqque lol

  • I like this video much better than the other one. Her original dry state is my hair type. I may buy this product. =)

  • nice

  • finally i see someone with my texture lol i hate the look of my hair when it shrinks so i will defiantly try this product

  • how long does this last? i want to grow my hair out. its less than two inches right now. what should i do?

  • Are Miss Jessie's products still sold in Target?? i went to my local target and i didnt see it :-(

  • @The1nOnliRitz Yes, they have it in Target in Dallas, Texas. I was just in there. Maybe they were out or not close to where you looked I find that they are on the endcaps at two of the Target stores here and you may have to ask someone. HTH!

  • I wish Miss Jessie's comes to Walmart. That would make it much easier for me to get to. I don't have a Target close by

  • hmm It does not look horrible....But it certainly looks dry though...

  • I love how they used a girl with 4c hair for this video!

  • I agree the model did not need to blow dry her hair she was preety before and after. I love her texture.

  • i have natural 4c hair. I tried the curly pudding by miss jessies and it leaves your hair hard and with flakes after it dries. BUT the curly buttercreme is very different. I've been doing the twist out using the buttercreme and it does moisturize your hair. It's great the 4c ladies out there.

  • @KPoole9645

I have 4c hair and I totally agree with your post. I too found the flakes with the curly pudding and the curly meringue. However, the baby buttercreme works better for me.Thanks for your comment, I second that emotion :-)

  • Hi Kpoole9645,

If you use too much of the product yes you will get flakes, so use small amounts. the reason it might be hard is because you may used too little water. as you can see in this video she is using a moisturizer to style her hair, to keep it moist and not hard. our products are design to work with water so you have a no crunch hold. if your hair gets hard add water this will help the creme distribute through your hair. Much love and respect from Miss Jessie's.

  • I tried putting the curly pudding on my hair after i wash it and just rake it through with my fingers. It still caused flakes after it completely dries. Maybe my hair dries too quick and i need to re-wet it. I'll definitely try it again.....and post the results.

  • I had no idea miss jessies makes products for 4b-c's....I might have to try this.

  • Love your products! Now that I know how to use it with my hair. Can you please consider doing a coil out vid? Thanks!

  • The model, and her hair, are beautiful! Nice video.

  • Beautiful model. This by far is the most awesome before and after hair vid I've seen. It's awesome to see an AFTER in a natural state as opposed to straightened hair. Take notes Dr. Miracle. Wonderful, just wonderful *applause* LOL.

  • I have hair almost like hers but I dont like it. The blow dryer after the twistout was unnecessary!

  • hahahaaaaaa ya'll are to funny... I love the video i needed something for my texture hair... I previously googled videos about miss jessies and a lot of people said it left your hair feeling crunchy... I mean i dont need this to make my hair crunchy i have no problem with that... Does this moisturize at all?? I need some help...

  • it looks so nice cute.. whatever i like it :)

  • her hair is like mines, yay!

  • wow that is such a beautiful model

  • a new video

  • the model is stunning.

  • thank you for uploading this video! I agree with sweethoney2219 because the video girl and I seem to have the same curl pattern. Any idea what hair type she would be considered?

  • 4b/c

  • im glad they finally did a vid on a woman who has tighter coiled hair, and not the loose already curly hair

  • @sweethoney2219 I agree! That was my first thought too. She has kinky hair. Love it.

  • @sweethoney2219 yes i do agree!

  • Would this be akin to a "blowout"? I ask because this is what my mother calls it. Of course, she's a baby-boomer and wore a fro in the 70s. She now wears a TWA with a light texturizer. Back in the day they would braid/cornrow/twist the hair wet, then take it down and pick it out... just wanted to know if this is the same concept. My moms is real old-school and is helping me w/ my transition to natural hair.

  • Nice video.. I just wish she had gotten a fill on her nails before making the video

  • LOLOL I was thinking the same thing! LOLOLOLOL . Ms. Jessie knew she had the money to pay for her fill-in! lolol

  • I normallly use the Curly Pudding to do wet set twistouts on my hair. What is the difference between Curly Pudding and Curly Meringue? I have the same hair texture as the model in this video, would you also recommend Curly Meringue for the wet set twistout for tightly coiled and cottony hair? Thank you again, for caring about women with our hair textures!

  • Thank you so very much for posting this video! I visited your salon for the first time about one month ago and my visit was exceptional with respect to customer service, my haircut and styling! I live in Philadelphia so am unable to have you style my hair more frequently,so sad for me. Even so, I have been following your instructions with respect to keeping my hair moisturized with the Baby Buttercreme and my hair has thrived. I have the exact very tightly coiled and cottony hair as your model.

  • thank you all for your comments, one piece of information we wanted to share with you, our model has very healthy hair that consist on no sulfate shampoos, sulfate shampoos strip the natural oils you scalp produces for your hair follicles, use Creme de la Curl and Creme de la Creme these are sulfate free, you could use sulfate shampoos but use them once a month such as super slip sudsy shampoo, our models hair is gorgeous before and after. Much Love and respect to you all from Miss Jessie's.

  • Yes! Thank you! Finally, someone with my hair type! I was beginning to wonder whether or not 4b/4c hair had a chance. You've restored my faith in keeping my hair natural.

  • Thanks!!! This is helps me a lot since the model has a similar hair texture as me:) More of a realistic goal for me

  • OK she has my hair texture, I'm very happy to see that Miss Jessie. Isn't she lovely - gonna make me play some Stevie Wonder in here. Loved it. Y'all have won me back as a fan. : )

  • This is absolutely fantastic. Sistahs around the world are breathing a sigh of relief. Finally a model that has hair texture that resembles most of ours.

  • Very nice

  • This lady is gorgeous and her hair style is beautiful.

  • She is so pretty and I love MJ products, to bad they are so expensive

  • she's beautiful. I loved her hair before and after. gorgeous.

That much heat would damage my hair. I wait til my hair's 80% dry, then sit under the dryer for no more than 15 minutes.

  • finally a model with coarse hair!!! Awesome and beautiful!

  • @bow2jade Exactly, LOL. Bout time!!

  • I second that! Finally a hair texture that probably 30%-50% of us black women have. Great vid. She looks gorgeous.

  • I second! LOL! Great Video!

  • @bow2jade Her hair isn't coarse.. its kinky. There's a difference.

  • @LumosNox ..hmmmm, whats the difference.

  • @bow2jade yep finally!
