Love is a brocken promise, I know. And No i have not just split up. I split with them 8 years ago, and have not bothered with the whole love process since, who ever wrote the scipt is right, and has the stones to say what others dont wish to eccept. That love just dont work, its got to be the worst emotion going in my eyes, and any one who is still with that speacial some one after all those years. Well good on ya and good luck.
epic fail for not giving this clip another :10. Watch the others on Youtube and learn from your Fail. You don't show 2:00 of a fucking rant and then cut off the most important part.
Good definition Jamore21, but its not really that simple; your right, but its more along the lines of people that believe that people do not do things out of selflessness. So its not so much that their bad, but that there is something in it for them when they perform any action. So you were right, but missing some things (sorry, im in school to be a teacher lol)
One of my favourite Scrubs episodes of all time, brutally honest about how relationships begin and end. Keeping you hooked even though you know the outcome of the episode is a neat trick and diffcult to pull off
The shine's off the apple. And that's when you find out that that pretty little girl you married isn't it. No, she's a man-eater. I'm talking about the kind that uses your dignity as a dishtowel to wipe up any shreds of manhood that might be stuck inside the sink. So much so that, by the end of that relationship, I honestly don't know who I hated more her or me? I used to sit around and wonder. why our friends weren't trying to destroy each other. And here, it turns out: They weren't unhappy.
Scrubs is a great show, its not always about the rants, the mischief or the characters looking to make a viewer laugh.
This show looks at life and puts into words what people really think about it, and sometimes in clips like these really get things spot on, Great piece of acting by cox legend.
I got chills. That was beautiful and an outstanding performance yet again by John McGinley. We need to do something. McGinley deserves an Emmy or an award for his great acting. Maybe it's a bit to late for this particular scene, but there is sure more to come from McGinley, he just can't disapoint. It's impossible.
John C. McGinley is a fantastic actor......he can play the scarcastic, funny character but he also can play the sensitive, thoughtful Dr.Cox. Simply fantastic.
This is good it's nice to see the sensitive side to his character in the show but the solemn mood was kinda broken when he said an you no in some cultures a chicken an i choked on my drink lol
This is a very well written rant for the character in my opinion. It shows that there is still a human side to him as well as balancing out the shows humor factor.
For a comedy show this is a very solemn clip. It's nicely written and Johnny C elevates the text with a beautiful performance - you can believe Cox is searching for the right words.
He's talking to a psychologist. This is the best Dr. Cox talk I ever heard. I love when he say's, "She's...a maneater. And I'm not talking about the "Whoa Whoa here she comes" kind."
@FreEmAnAcID i don't remember the name of the episode but that's when jd and eliott hook up in the first season and the hospital staff has to talk to a shrink

He's talking about a cynic. Basicly he's saying that he hasn't lost his faith in love
Deshara218 2 years ago
a cynic, as in a non-believer, skeptical.

he actually said a cynic,
and it means a person who believes all people are motivated by selfishness.
