  • how do i make an cheap arm exoskeleton?

  • thanks u einHOCHaufWISEGUYS well the brand name is auldey!!!! yeah I know its a piece of crap only!!!

  • next install a camera on it

  • Nice, I should turn my real car into drive by wire and put a microcontroller and gyro in it too :) then I'll drift like hell without the necessity of me doing the corrections and always going the right way sideways :D

  • yours was a little cheep one to get a stampead

  • pls reply

  • what if I only got two motors from a rc car and no servos.....???

  • @jonhn545

what a crazy car did you had?! If it wasn't a track vehicle, it shal have at least one servo ...

But you can buy servos in every lil' electronicstore or even in the internet :D

  • clever

  • if you say micro controller one more time, i swear

  • Now put a Hamster on it

  • Information overload...... My Receiver just melted.

  • Ok, drop the landing legs. Errr, landing legs?... oh?!

  • i am so glad i unsubscribed from you guys!

  • nice

  • i have no idea what he was talking about, but i do wanna see that helicopter fly.

  • Cool, I sink this is a great id.

  • the 4 motors helicopter rocks!

  • i like what i just saw ! awesome 1 favorite

  • yes well a dbox is for noobs that dont know how to slide

  • sounds rellay like he's from denmark xD

  • Are you danish ? asking cuz i am :)

  • @Lundt93 yes

  • @fritslyneborg Nice , jeg har altid godt villet bygge noget spændende ud af f.eks en fjernstyret bil. Måske tunet den eller lign. Men hvergang er det bare resulteret i en ødelagt RC bil..

  • test

  • and they charge us ten`s of thousands of dollars for this kida of tec in a car -,-

  • Wow so it's basically using the gyro as yaw control for a radio controlled car. I would have never thought of that but it honestly has me thinking about diggin' my old r/c out of storage bins for some tinkering. I'm sure watching this video is going to cost some future hours of my life.

  • Autonomous robots ! the way of the future !

  • dansk: jeg kan ikke vente til næste uge..

English: i cant wait till next week

  • Hey man ! Cool vid, but play with rc , aren't Hobby Robotics !

You can rename title with rc custom..

  • cool !!! :D

  • Nice hack!

  • Gay

  • thumbs up on this video, love the new format!

  • 02:17 aka germany wires ^^

  • i like this video even more than the others

  • this is a guy i actually enjoy watching.

  • The cable from the controller is a PWM cable.

  • @OneCompHelp Yes.

  • Great info video. I'm looking forward to the next one now :-)

  • I like the small helicopter idea I have 2 im trying to make into a boat

  • WOW i gotta try this only i wold use it as more of a traction control during normal racing and i wold just program a button on my normal controller to turn it on and off to go back to giving full control back to the driver for certain races

  • this tires are coled sneek tires ;)

  • here's is an idea. you know those small helicopters you can bye for like 5 dollars? make something with them, they are small and easy to get your hands on :)

  • @gustavbs Sorry, I do not know them. Can they fly? Can you give me details (brand, something)?

  • @fritslyneborg I think gustavbs means those tiny 3-channel ready to fly helicopters with 2 main rotors and a propeller at the back facing up for adjusting the pitch. They are pretty cool, but they are very light and have tiny electronics and I wonder if they have enough power to lift anything substantial.

  • :_)

  • wow now i know how to make stuff...

  • wow... im so trying out the gyro rc car...

  • i might try to make that ski/boat thing outta an old traxxas esc and motor and an old reciever..

  • an RC car does not equal a robot

  • @dlmarti While a simple example, anything that performs tasks using electro-mechanics, independantly or with assistance qualifies as a robot. Some functions evident in this car can also be found in kinetic mechanisms for other kinds of robots and machinary too.

  • I want to make a bomb with a controller and blow off a government building..have you got a guide on that?

  • soo eazy a caveman can do it lol

  • instead of telling us wat to make could ya show us how to make???????

  • I liked both the old news style and this new inspiration series. I would like to see you mix it up, and make segments in the show. Great job!!

  • fuck robots idiots

  • i know what you will make out of the cheap cars....

  • Electronic controller drifto is a bad idea. fun is without controller. I know because I have a model and it drift him without electronic asist

  • @matrix00660066 But how do you know it is not _more_ fun with electronic assistance that yoou can program / reprogram yourself? (Have you tried it?)

  • @matrix00660066

no, i not tried. but tell me what is fun when something does everything for you?

  • @matrix00660066 "Fun" is depending on who you are :) To me the fun is in making it, and seeing if I can make it do cool stuff - I like having done something that makes me have fun, tweaking, inventing. It's not doing everything for you, trust me. It is just taking a step up in fun. To me :)

  • @matrix00660066 Oh - actually I tried once to make an RC that would do too much for me; Avoid obstacles, back out of trouble, drive wicked cool in the direction, and in the speed I told it to. That actually got boring, I found myself just giving it full speed, and see it drive. That actually took out the fun of it :) But working with cool sliding by programming, is cool extra fun. To me.

  • Can't wait till next week

  • your car looks cheap if your looking for a good beginner rc car i say hpi e10 if your a little richer get a tt01

  • Great video Frits!

  • awesome vid!

  • Great stuff :)

  • Hey Fritz! Where can I get the ESC and the other basics i need for R/C stuff? I have a couple of Arduinos already :-D

  • @x9x9x9x9x9 at ur local hobby shop

  • @TheTwitch96 They don't have anything like that. Just kits.

  • @x9x9x9x9x9 then iether tell them to order a part for you or order it urself to ship i to ur house.ni doubt they wouldnt have the basic electric car esc.

  • 2 people are douche bags

  • I wish the kit for this was a little cheaper.

  • Frits, be honest with us. You won the lottery, bought a private island and have fun make videos about robots = P

  • pfft cars are boring do a plane!

  • ahhh! NOOOOO! This is the worst suggestion for a project idea ever. I'm sorry, I usually love these episodes, but the gyro-servo combination's purpose is what u said the microcontroller will be doing with the servo and the gyro- i.e. the microcontroller is obsolete in this case. Likewise the Tx -> Rx -> servo signal does not need an I.C. in the middle. Again it's obsolete. Only do this if u want to waste a lot of time and money on a project that you could have made into something interestng!

  • @laoch33 With the microcontroller in-line, you can have your RC car listen to commands from your transmitter, or act autonomously if it receives no commands. Or you can have the microcontroller take control if you give it sensors to detect that it is about to crash. Or you can have it interpret what you are telling it to do, and adjust for drift with input from the gyro (as Frits suggested). Or... anything else you want. It lets you go beyond a simple RC car.

    -Andrew (ignoblegnome from LMR)

  • @appterranova maybe that's what he should have suggested xP. Ok so I ws a bit grumpy cause i got wisdom teeth out, but as a heli flyer, I thought gyros were good enough to hold a drift without I.C. use, apparently I was wrong. Nt to be negative again, bt- I always wanted to autonomously control my rc car but thought better of it, cos it's a 1/10th scale nitro and letting tht thing do what it wants would be so nerve wracking :P if not limb and property WRecKing.Admittadly cud b fun wth elec car:)

  • @laoch33 1st off... ouch. Wisdom teeth. 2nd, I'm not saying what you can or cannot do without a microcontroller. Just that adding one gives you the opportunity to add new capabilities, autonomous action, etc. There's nothing wrong with just enjoying RC vehicles for what they are. But this show is about robots, so we are talking about microcontrol being added to an RC platform. Plenty of ways to have fun. Everyone can have their pick. ; j

  • arghz jump cuts.

nice concept and content, painful video editing.

  • i had that lanyu electronics esc and burned up 3 of them why!? i was doing really well until it blew up i was in second against slash 4x4 with the ity bity redcat twister xb! any help?

  • isn't that a tamiya!?

  • i don't have $110 to make project 1 so....

really hope i can make next weeks project with the cheap car without that knowhow

  • i believe that car is a tamiya based on the tl-01 chassis.

  • Brushed motors are for pussy's ! Lol

  • Ha! That little fan powered snow ski thing is badass.

  • who watched this and in the end had no clue what the hell this was about :P

  • @sinterklaas0107 If you didn't understand what he was saying, then perhaps robotics are not for you.

  • @sinterklaas0107 Me! but the robots were cool ;D

  • Someone please tell Frits he can stop apologizing about his accent.

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!! :D

  • I'm actually going to do that. Thanls

  • @tleneel GREAT! Please post what you are doing, so I can help, or you can show me what you made :)

  • @Tuplet I clicked thumbs up b4 seeing it

  • i break almost anything i touch, but anyways can i use any of these information for controllers for kite photography . if so tell how

  • Would the Motorized sled work on dirt? Because I live in a desert. No Ice. No water.

  • cool stuff!

  • i wana see next weeks video now :( thumbs up if you agree

  • oh, good. I only have access to the little cheap cars.

  • Wow, thats come on a long way compared to the days when I was in RC cars. Gyroscopes and fancy controllers! Whatever next! :)

  • good info, make your vids more like this :)

  • Im the 12th comment... and I have a question... By the year 2100 will robots take over the world like skynet in Terminator?

  • :O???

  • @shoopwhoopX fuck off

  • @shoopwhoopX FUCK you noob !

  • @palauskas obese hambeast

  • @shoopwhoopX please write the number of your comment and then write what you have to say....

  • 11Th!

  • I'm taking robotics in college lol. I'm kind of interested

  • @Ianbrow1 those days are over, and now I'm the eight comment

  • Woot 7th Comment and 2nd Like lol

  • I'm the sixth comment :)

  • This video aint even processed completely and im commenting! :P
