Wow. What a heart felt performance. Clearly this song has a new meaning for him after the loss of his son. One of my favorite songwriters. I just hope people like him realize how much comfort, support, and joy their music brings.

I wish I could have been there....undoubtedly the most heartfelt performaces for him during the "Remember Alex" memorial shows he does...I have only had one opportunity to see him 2 years ago when he played my towns summer concert series....and he has inspired me to start writing. BTW...he's playing here tonight in Atlanta at Wild Bills in Duluth...couldn't afford to go see him though...next time for sure..!!!

..ah; dependable Cindy, how cool r U 2 remember 2 share JS remembering Alex? This is surely 1 of the most sensitive renditions of 'Hurts' captured on camera..love the way U did that wide shot of his band 2 show their tender silent yet heartfelt & supportive vibes being sent his way in the solo part of the song = beautiful...well done...& thanx!!!
