  • Great job! I just bought the Navy Seals Door Gym. Right now I can do 3 pull ups, and that's with the close grip hands facing each other grip. Maybe in a few months I'll do 26. Maybe...

  • ya dude i trained real hard with that and i can do 31 now i used to only do 8 but i improvaed... plus im only 14

  • Sweet

  • now these are some good pull ups

  • AWESOME!!!! Nice stuff. Check out my one arm & regular pull ups; just click on my name. Cheers bro.

  • That was excellent. I'm glad to see people recgonize that this was a superb feat. This is the best I have seen so far on you tube. As for the person that said pause at the top. That is total nonsense. I think that person has just been humbled with what you have achieved here. Keep up the good work. Respect to you man.

  • Nice job.

  • Nice job. 26 is a lot of pull ups! I thought your form was really good. I try to do sets of ten with really good form, but I don't always succeed. Where can I learn more about the gymnast style of pull up?

  • nicely done i can do 25 pull ups when i was 16, now im to lazy to do any cause i dont hav the pull up thingie and i dont go to the gym. i used to do pull up on the stair of my apartment where u have to walk on the stair to get to the the 2nd story. those pull up are much harder then these cause u dont hav good grip on the stair and i dont kick or hump the air if i do i would hav kick the stair step

  • I am simply stating that these are not gymnast style pull ups. The humerus is not undergoing its full ROM. I believe all bodyweight exercises should be done with a controlled negative and full ROM. Follow the example of the gymnasts, just look at their physiques and strength.

  • lol, dude, then just say that first thing next time, instead of calling me a hypocrite and all that garbage. If I had wanted to do gymnist style pull ups, I would have said so.

  • @JordanLocksley First of all, splendid work; you're a rare person to be able to do that many in a row. Second, it amazea me how Tube-trolls almost always find a way to criticize other peoples' achievements. I just knew a You Tube expert was going to start crying about form or something stupid

  • Why are gymnists the gold standard of how a pull up needs to be done? Says who? He extended his arms all the way down, he pulled himself above the bar, and he did it all without kipping--those are proper. And since when does physique somehow set it in stone that the pull ups are proper? There are many guys on here who have great physiques who do it improper, but I guess I'm the idiot.. because after all, look at their physiques.

  • Why not make gymnasts the gold standard? They are the strongest athletes in the world relative to their body weight. They must be doing something right. Doing full ROM just means that you don't need to add too much extra weight. It's a way of getting MORE out of an exercise before you inconvenience yourself with dipping belts.

  • No pause at the top, bare clearance of chin over the bar, negative is way too fast, still a far-cry from legit!

  • I love you too, pkyane6.

  • You must think I'm a hater: Incorrect assumption.

Too many people do this exercise incorrectly. I am sick of it and all it serves is people's ego. The truth is that 15 pull ups done properly with full

ROM is a very rare feat that few can accomplish.

rare feat that few can ever accomplish. Aim to make

exercises as hard as possible so they serve you

    longer.

  • Well that's fine and dandy, but to say those aren't legimate pull ups because I'm going too fast and there isn't "clear" clearance is absurd. I clear the pull up bar, plain and simple, and speed has nothing to do with a legitimate pull up. You're making your own rules. Show me this magical guidebook you have that states otherwise. I'm not trying to be combative here, but you're jumping the gun like crazy.

  • hahha well its not like it helped me at all. buy yep i think im the only "nay-sayer" that backed my shit up on here lol

  • k my video is up now.. i beat you by 1/4 lol

  • Oh man, you booger! lol awesome job. Not fair, though! I didn't have anyone around to cheer me on! :-)

  • now that was kickass! good job man, in my book, you got the most 2 handed pullups on youtube. arms fully extended, nice even pace, and no kipping! i dont think i can do as many as you cause just in april i started training for strength for the one arm pullup. can you do those? how long you been pulling up?

  • Oh hey man, thanks. No I can't do one-arm pull ups! Those are insane. Hope your training is going well. I've been doing pull ups for about 5 years now consistently. I wanna get up to 30-35 and then make another video, but we'll see if that ever happens. :-) Take care.

  • Yo man your endurance is no doubt impressive but if you want to pull off the one armer you got to work on the strength part...like weighted pullups for only 5 reps a set...but your endurance is nuts and if you want to continue focusing on endurance good luck to you...

  • Congratulations, you did all your pull ups in correct form. If this gets to easy, then try doing the sternup pull up in both pronated and supinated grip. I recommend also subscapularis pull up.

  • If this is still too easy, then try doing these pull ups in a 10 second up and down tempo, doing pull ups this way is extremely painful. I recommend going in a pyramid system:

    ex) 1 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 1

Take a 15 second rest(release the bar) between each set. Finally, if you are extremely strong, then go to beastskills, the website has tutorial on developing one handed pull ups.

Good luck, all your pull ups are perfect form.

  • hahah good job.. im gonna max out tomorrow and record it on my phone. i hope i can get it on the computer though. i max out around the same number as you

  • Oh cool ... yeah let me know when you do. Definitely would like to see that.

  • There you go, folks ... all the way down. If you think these aren't legit, there ain't nothin that's gonna satisfy you. There's some slight movement of my body after the 23rd pull up, but it's nothing that helps to raise me up. No swinging, no kicking. None. BTW, this is a sequel to the Response Video above. Peace out. :-)
