I found out that there was english Dubb in the German dvd's so I got mine from Amazon , I cant wait to see these episodes.I used to love that show when I was little and was awfully disappointed with the recent film!

Fortunately they released the whole series (all 13 episodes) with the German and English soundtrack on DVD here in Germany. I loved and still love this series!

This is one of my favorite roles involving Michael Gough. That and the part he played as the mad hare to Peter Cook's Alice In Wonderland from 1966.

What was great about his madhare was he approached it from a different angle than other actors. He played the part as though he were mentally challenged. When you consider it, mentally challenged persons were at one time institutionalized. The tea party seen with all three of the actors makes more sense.

I only try and cover Canadian TV series or film which companies still do not see fit to release on DVD.

For example, if production companies or broadcast stations had some sense, The Beachcombers would have been released on DVD long ago.
