I don't like it either when people say that new music sucks. Same with people who say the opposite; that older music is no good (assuming we're not talking about cavemen). I think it is just a factor of people being more familiar with the music of "their" generation.

Generally these people are passing judgement on something they no nothing about, it's not in their CD collection so it must suck, right? There are lots of people who think Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are what everyone listen .

@datdereduck I'm fourteen and I don't see any "good" bands around these days. I was introduced to old songs way before my time but I hated them. I can now fully understand what made them so good and why people liked the 1970's 80's and 90's songs, I can also understand how terrible the music is today. Speaking fast isn't an art, using a computer to make the instrumental part of a song with little or no effort is not music. Mark Everett is one of the few people keeping real music from dying out.
