I don't claim to be an expert on any of this, but I've done a lot of reading about it. It seems that unconditional support of Israel is hypocritical. Let's not forget that Israelis are the occupiers here. And Hamas is a group of terrorists....but with these attacks they are hurting Palestinian civilians. It bothers me you can't criticize Israel without being called an anti-semite or a supporter of terrorists. Just like every other country, Israel needs to be held accountable for their actions.

the problem is not the anti-semites, the problem is with the ignorance. for example, how can you say that israel is the occupier here 3 years after we left gaza? what occupation you are talking about? you should be reading more plain facts rather then propaganda.

That's beside the point, what is important is that people are dying, on both sides. Hamas has 25,000 people, how does Israel expect to defeat them short of killing them all, their plans just aren't feasable. However, they are justified in their actions, it's morally right, but not logically right.

I've done reading on both sides of the issue and think that ALL sides deserve some of the blame. Though Israel may have pulled out of Gaza, their economic sactions have disproportionately hurt Palestinian civilians. Gaza is hardly a free and sovereign state. Israel's current attacks, however "justified" they might be will not solve the underlying problem. They will just kill more innocent people and ruin more lives (on both sides).
