I have mine for about 6 months now and i changed strings to extra light (.10) and its sound is so much smoother and sweeter now. It sounds, smells, playability and looks are fantastic. Recommend it as a martin guitar with a very reasonable price (i payed 700 EUR)
Had one for 15 yrs now. Same thing really, just older, and the wood got darker... sound got sweeter:) I used heavy strings for the longest time! I recently went to light, and man.. such a sweeter sound when fingerpicking! If you have any Martin, it is a fine product! The name speaks for itself! I love my DM!

What I love best is (apart from the sound, of course) the smell of the wood once it gets warm from playing it.
