Can't find episode 3 what gives? Oh by the way did you pay someone to do the background music or was it a friend? Kind of always wanted to do something of my own but copyright issues aside couldn't afford my own software to make anything since I'm on a limited budget and am unemployed. Any advice you could please offer would be helpful any way keep up the good work wish I could do something just as good!

@blameist Episode 3 hasn't been finished yet. Alas, real life priorities. Episode 1 music was "borrowed" from other sources, but episode 2 music was composed specifically for the episode. No one, however, was paid for their work on this, nor has anyone profited from it. I know what you mean about budget... but this didn't cost me a dime to make, just time. And, for what it's worth, it did get me a job (in a roundabout way) with the original artist of the comic...

i just though you might like to know how awesome this is for me! i am a dissabled transformers fan whose never really been able to read the comics because the print's too small. everyone has told me to read war within but, as i've said, i've never been able to! so the fact that you've animated it and added voices is amazing! because now i have access to it. i hope you do more transformers comics and others too. i know this sounds gushy, but this is one of the gratest things i've ever seen

@MercerPrime well, you can check out Starscream's voice in the next video, which is episode 2 parts 1 & 2. The background music should be in the credits. For episode 2, though, we actually have our own composer!

Sentinel Prime is in the IDW series Megatron: Origins. There's a brief clip of himsmashed up in the second part of episode 2 of War Within in a flashback while Megatron is talking.

I don't care Prime's voice emulates Peter Cullen. I only care about the quality of performance to Prime in conjunction to the text of the story. As far as I'm concerned the results are satisfiable.

I understand that Mr. Cullen's iconic, but he can't do everything.

Well, I think the actor was trying an impression, but you're right, this Optimus voice is fine in its own way.

We were actually going for a younger sounding Prime voice as Prime is, at this point, very green and inexperienced. It wouldn't match the story to have him oozing with the authority that Cullen has.

Next episode is still in production. It was set back a bit by several factors, such as my real job (I teach), planning my wedding, and some of the voice actors being unable to continue due to things going on in their personal lives.

Well, honestly it's "when it's done, it's done." Many of the voice actors are busy with other projects and I myself am busy teaching college students the ins and outs of writing... so, it all just depends on how much free time everyone has.

This story seems to bridge the gap between the G1 episode "War Dawn" (the past part) and the Another G1 episode "More Than Meets The Eye". I like this series. Can't wait to see more. I'm subscribing to you.

Nope, never was a cartoon series--which is why I'm making it ;-) The War Within was a popular comic book series, however. Several Titanium series figures were built based on the designs from the comic book.

My cartoon uses scans from the comic book. If this story has caught your interest, I'd highly recommend the modern Transformer comic book series.

i'm what you would call an old head so alot of this doesn't make sense to me. like primes name optronix, it was orion pax.and not to mention did not prime creategrimlock and the dinobots? i love it i just hope it is not going to be intertwined with the g1 robot's which they did in this book. just stick to the scripts

This is based on the comics, not the cartoons. In fact, its a translation of the comic book series The War Within. You should check it out, or the current IDW comic book series.

Most things are similar, but something (such as the Dinobots) are different. You'll notice Grimlock isn't dumb, for example, but instead very militant.

I think it was "Against the Wind" by Stratovarius. The music and sound f/x were picked out and placed by tfcog.

Glad that you liked it--I've been getting a lot of comparison comments between this and the Walmart Beginnings cartoon. I was disappointed that there was less movement in their adaptation too.

That was absolutely amazing! I wasn't expecting much from a comic-to-computer adaptation, but there's some very well done effects here and even I find myself waiting with great anticipation for more. The point chosen to end the episode was perfect, and the style chosen was flawless. My only complaint would maybe be Grimlock's voice, but everyone else's I'm EXTREMELY pleased with. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I'll be eagerly waiting for Episode 2.
