You know if you use the cheat "noclip" you can fly through the walls before you get into the elevator/lift and find the two advisors just sitting there. They have a TON of health (about 20 rockets for each one or something) but you can kill them. After you go back and get to the cutscene, everyone will just stand there while the sound plays, then the credits will roll.
Sad end, the first time i finished EP2, I was sad, but also angry, because of the combine advisors. How dare they touch Eli, fat worms full of shit -_-.

So I imagine when Episode 3 ties up whatever plot is going on with respect to the Combine here, we may have Gordon whisked off to do another job for the G-Man. It may involve the Combine, it may not. I shall eagerly anticipate it though, and I doubt the Combine, controlling all the worlds they do, will let Earth off with this smack in the face so easy.

They do seem powerful, but if you harm the creature it seems to lose focus and as you see with the advisor dog faught, it could no longer fly.

He's using Source Recorder, it doesnt cut down the quality at all, and you can record as long as you want. It's in all the Source games, you just have to use console commands to use it.

i dont know why but when the Advosors come to kill Eli ... the cutscene is crashing as hell :/ only the cutscene everything else is fine and fluid ... anyone knows why ? ;(

When i finshed the game when i saw eli died it was a silent moment till then end of the credits i wonder if there will be half life 2 episode 3 i wonder what will happen.

He's using Source Recorder, it doesnt cut down the quality at all, and you can record as long as you want. It's in all the Source games, you just have to use console commands to use it.

this game isn't like your life, or other horror games, its always got some sort of way to get out of any bad situation, like i said before, most science fiction movie like... now eli death was the first really sad part of the game :(, therefore my theory that saves him. Making a sad or crude ending is so boring and old :\

I think the gman will come at the beginning on episode 3, start blabbing on with his words of wisdom, The vortigaunts then appear.
the gman goes something like " I do not bring harm Xen beings"
Vortigaunt : we require an extract of ( whatever that antilion stuff is )
The gman gives them some
& then they bring eli back alive.
That's my little story, probs won't happen.
