Jesus christ Nu is broken character.... I guess I could be wrong since every character in BB can be "broken" if used right, but I just feel like Nu especially can be set up to wreck anyone too easily. I guess two things:
1. This Hakumen should've known better than to go rushing in so much, especially after getting comboed so much.
2. However, although I don't have any evidence to support this claim, I feel like Nu could combo on that block all day until it broke.

But yeah, if I was that Hakumen, I would have just sat in training mode or something and train myself to read V-13's moves because with Haku, you can turtle all day and unleash a mean counter into combo to turn the match around. This Haku obviously hasn't trained much. But gg.
Nu is really not a broken character in this match up. Meh I actually found a way to beat Haku. Just pressure him all day by just spamming gravity fields and you can stop his offense by doing forward D. It takes Hakumen about 5 hits on new to win if Nu made a mistake.
I think I'll just exit myself from this channel. You guys are all taking this way to serious. So much so every vid has you guys arguing one thing or another, it's becoming really annoying. Good luck to you all...
The attacks that come from behind can be blocked as normal without doing anything special. It's just a matter of recognizing key moves that hit overhead (4D) and low (236D). If anything, what makes v-13 "overpowered" is the ridiculous reliability of her combos and her rather powerful close range options (read: she's not screwed when you finally get in close).

it's nothing personal, but Nu is annoying. she was the first character i played as, and she disgusted me. 90% of her combos come from her drive and heavy spam.

True, that Nu is solid but from watching all those vid's it looks like EJ is stuck on an intermediate level without trying to advnace into the higher levels of Nu play. It also seems like his opponents have no idea on how to counter Nu's most basic blockstrings or punish her most obvious moves, as Darksoul173 said, backdashing the 4DD (seems like no onw knows that..) or punishing the very punishable Act Pulsar. Too bad we barely get to see higher levels of play from SRK, Good luck anyway.
You do know that hakumen has 0 invincibility frames on backdash?(But yet your trying to teach me even though you know absolutely nothing yourself it seems, LOL) He's the only character with none. DD 4DD becomes a great option on Hakumen.
Did you even know that if can guess the opponent is going to backdash after DD you get a free Arc Pulsar toward them into 2C counter hit?

No need for aggression, thank you. Backdashing the 4DD requires no invincibility frames because performing the backdash will make it completly whiff (go ahead and try in training, every character can do it).
And of course you can do many things bseides 4DD (Act Pulsar, 241B/C, j.2DD etc.) its part of Nu's mixup play and by no means should backdashing the 4DD can be called the "right choice", its one of many. I'm not posting to bash on you, nor should you. Again, good luck.

I've been watching your matches for a while, I like your Nu style, but I think you forgive a bit to much. I'm not saying you should be more cheap, but most pro V-13's are way less forgiving then you are. That hakumen shoudn't have gotten that much approaches on you. Still good matches, keep it up.

Flashy combos think more of damging combos
and those matches were from a late night session so tiredness got the best of me
but im not talking about combos, not once in your vids you're doing a jD j2D trying to do some mixups, IAD or anything else that isn't 5DD
punshing the oppenet correctly the jin in those vids was a an amazing player and he didnt gave me much opportunities to punish him
If all you seen in my videos are attempts to go for "flashy" combos than it's sad

only the regular 5DD 4DD 236D (for christ sake ppl you can backdash between the 5DD and the 4DD) ALL THE FUCKING TIME
