Traditionally this song is sung with a girl playing a tiny drum. Literally the title of the song means the flower drum from the town of Feng Yang. BTW, the correct Chinese is 凤阳, not 风阳. The first character means Chinese Phoenix 凤, not wind 风. The unsimplified forms are 鳳 vs. 風 respectively.
