  • Bravo

  • the choir sang well but the

alto part can be louder cuz can't hear them as they sing too soft and people see can not have more intesrt in this song so alto must be much more louder

  • The choir sang well. Pity the song was shortened to only the first verse, thus missing out the most interesting parts of the song where the male singers poke fun at their female counterparts and vice versa. Was it shortened to make it easier for a non-chinese choir to sing it?

  • they so clever they know how how to sing chinese song

  • Bravo!!

  • Bravo! what a wonderful performance! keep it up !

  • ^_^

  • watch?v=nHa2j8I8uTk in youtube for a traditional performance of this song.

    watch?v=2nNT63ycKQQ for an untraditional way.

  • Traditionally this song is sung with a girl playing a tiny drum. Literally the title of the song means the flower drum from the town of Feng Yang. BTW, the correct Chinese is 凤阳, not 风阳. The first character means Chinese Phoenix 凤, not wind 风. The unsimplified forms are 鳳 vs. 風 respectively.

  • thanks for the correction!
