Another great feature of the Seiko Spring Drive Chronograph that many people do not realise is that you can actually manually wind the crown without having to pull it out. It is so convenient and saves on wear and tear on the crown. No other chronograph that I know of can do this. Please someone correct me here if I am wrong.
They shouldn't have put a large cover on it :-/ They should have kept an opening into the detailed system behind the cover! That's why I really like skeleton watches... anyways, amazing video :P
I wore an Ananta Spring Drive GMT, my personal favorite. I loved this watch so much that I had to buy it. It oozes pure class and shows Seiko Corporation can match it with the best of the best :-)
If any of you ever see this, I would like to say that you guys are a part of ingenious engineering. I would love to meet every single one of you, shake your hands and applaude Seiko Corporation for creating a miracle after 28 years of research and development. I am so honoured to see this video clip. As a watch fan, I had to go and see an Ananta watch for myself. I cannot begin to explain the sheer amazement when I got to touch, play and wear one.
@italomagic1Agreed, I recently bought a Seiko Ananta Moon Phase Spring Drive and can honestly say that it trumps most swiss watches. Its an absolute work of art!
@TKEarly09 The entire watch is made in house by hand. Cases are hand finished and movements are hand assembled. Seiko makes each and every component found on Ananta in house, from the dials, lubricants and believe it or not they even culture theire own quartz chrystals for the Spring Drive movements!

What is the "hairline" finishing, is it that brushed metal textured surface finish?
