  • They've changed the name of this product. It is now under, Maybelline Power Powder Foundation. Great tutorial btw :)

  • maybe this will break me out.. i really wanna try this one but im scared

  • btw what's the song in the background

  • A very long time trust me haha. Its been almost two years since i have mine!

  • @Megalashification

I know right? I finally finished mine mid of last year.

  • hey how long does dis foundation last ???

  • @MisPurpleButterfly

Because my country is humid and with my oily skin, it last up to 3 hours.

  • going to get it as soon as possible :DDD

  • @CupCakeIsDead

Did you manage to grab it?

  • @TraclynYeoh I can't find it anywhere :(

  • after watching this review, I went to the mall to buy one.. It suits my asian skin so perfectly.. =) Look so natural and the glow is sooo healthy =) Thank you for the video... =)

  • @ebencipe

No problem and please stay tuned for more!

  • I use this product :)

  • @xLaytonimorx

    How is it treating you?

  • Hi, I need suggestions on how I pick the tone of foundations powder. I'm asain too with lighter skin than average. If I want to balance out the little redness i have on my face, do I go for something with cool tones?

  • @maybeido03

When selecting foundation, look up 3 shades that you think might be suitable for you. Apply a small amount on your jawline and find out which blends with your skin the most. For redness, I recommend using green color corrector.

  • i don't know what color should i pick..and is the product not good for you if you have acne prone skin?

  • @lalagirl211

I'm acne prone skin and it has been kind to my skin. Some said it makes them breakout but it all depends on individual's skin.

  • I can't find this product on shelve anymore :(

  • @Suspended4th

I think it has been discontinued.

  • @TraclynYeoh yah so sad... checked with the maybelline counter last year and they do not have this anymore... got the 2-way foundation in the same shade ... but the effect is not really the same

  • Hey ! Nice review :) I actually have this powder foundation for almost a month, and i will recommended it to girls who don't like full coverage.I have oily skin but i feel it is not good enough for covering imperfactions. But that's my opinion ! :) If you really want to use it,i use it over a liquid foundation ( I use a clinique one ) to set the foundation ;)

  • @ladone127

Thank you and this is one of the powder that I have finished using it without me noticing,

  • good review, but i think my ears are bleeding....

  • @MusicManiaacify

Thank you but why is that so?

  • hi can i ask how much is Maybelline Clear Smooth Healthy Mineral Powder ?

does it stay longed even in a sunny weather? tnx ;]

  • @meyah972

I think it has been discontinued now.

  • i like this review! so helpful, i would want to try this product after the one im using. :)

  • @mahdita12

    No problem!

  • what lipstick and shade did you use? it looks very pretty!

  • @ceejaycee13

This video has been a while and I can't remember which lip color I use. Sorry!

  • Thank you!! Do u know if they still sell this or is it like discontinued?? I've been wanting this powder for a while now because my aunt recommended this to me since I need a light coverage foundation. Kuz I'm only 13. But I can't seem to find it :(((((

And how much does this cost??

  • @JuicyJasBeauty

I'm not sure if it's still available in your location but I no longer see them in my country anymore.

  • Wow! You did a great job of demonstrating how to apply loose mineral powder. I've been struggling with applying it and it looking caked. Thanks! (and you look beautiful too)

  • @harrylove1001

Thank you and please stay tuned!

  • What shade do you use? Vanilla rose?

  • @SuperPeggyPet

    Light Ochre

  • this gave me breakouts! i hate this product!

  • @ayenalvia

totally agree. and it's not really a mineral powder. it's got zinc - I give you that but the 2nd main ingredient is polyethylene...which in other words is mineral oil - you know, what goes in your car to make it go? lol

it's a very cheap filler for powders like this - to give it volume.

me - don't like fossil fuels on my skin so much...

you should try bareminerals or artdeco (but I don't know if thats available where you reside)

  • @ayenalvia

I'm sorry that this happened to you.

  • Hey girl friend! Just wanted to say I just went out and bought this! I was so worried about picking the right shade and thank lawdeh I did! I love it so much! I had to stick with the kabuki that came with it though because I used to use a cheap dollar general kabuki that's pretty much like trash by now. Very easy to apply and I love how it's great for sensitive and oily skin, plus with SPF. Woo! Loved your vid and the song too. :]

  • @xaniimax

Thank you! I hope everything works fine with you eh? =)

  • @xaniimax

Thank you! I hope everything works fine with you eh? =)

  • too much buffering...

  • @alsanarobert

    It works fine, don't worry!

  • I hate using liquid foundation :/

    thanks for the vid! ><

  • @BananzaPrincess1

    No worries and stay tuned!

  • Wow ur skin is so smooth!

  • @greendevil

    Thank you!

  • Where did you buy the kabuki? :) and how much it cost? Thanks :)

  • @nazrauhl

The Kabuki is called Keli 723, made in China.

  • What kind of kabuki brush do you use ??

  • @lolapaola200

The kabuki is called Keli 723. It's from China but it's really soft and gentle on face =)

  • That's the stuff I use! :D

  • @PiZzAPiGs555333

Has the product been kind to you?

  • @TraclynYeoh Surprisingly yes. But I can only wear it, if I put lotion on my face first. Otherwise it slips off my face. Lotion helps it stick more and also moisturizes at the same time. I like it, although it may work different for other people(: I would recommend it though.

  • @TraclynYeoh But I do not use that brush that comes with it. Haha.

  • @PiZzAPiGs555333

The brush is pretty rough isn't it? It felt so harsh on my face.

  • What kind of camera are you using to film this ?

  • I can't remember the exact model name but it was Canon. I've switched to other camera now, it's Canon Powershot SX1 IS.

  • @TraclynYeoh Does That One your recording on now is it stil the same quality as the one before? and thanks (:

  • @iluvmybesties5

The current camera has better quality.

  • well, the one in the states are mineral powder

  • i really want it but i dont think they sell it in the states yet :(

  • i try looking for them in my local drugstore but cant find it. the maybelline clear smooth mineral.. where did you get yours

  • @addicteddoll

I bought mine from my local drugstore. They are basically the Maybelline mineral range and I suppose the name of the products can be different in different country.

  • Does mineral makeup cause the skin to age? How much was this product? Does it work for oily skin?

  • @coolfann1

Mineral is natural and it should not age your skin. Please refer to the info box for the price and it work for me, I have oily & acne prone skin.

  • Comment removed

  • @coolfann1 it doesnt work for me.. i have oily skin... and it doesnt last long either.. and my face looks like plastic if i retouch it....

  • What's your shade?

  • @gumdropumbrella

Please refer to previous comments and info box. Thank you!

  • You mentioned your skin is going through a crisis, do you think its because of this product?

I'm always so worried about putting the wrong products on my face because lately my skin has been going through a crisis too :(

  • @emichell100

Oh, I use this powder occasionally and it sums up to a couple of months, I only use it once? This product has been kind to my skin before the crisis. I'm putting off makeup for a bit and meeting a dermatologist soon.

  • So helpful!!! Thanks

  • @seastar44

    No worries!

  • Wow looks real good on your skin! Where can i get this product?

  • @bemybffff

You may look for it at your local drugstore. It's the Maybelline Mineral range.

  • that's so cool!! it totally transformed your skin into something even more beautiful!!! but u were already pretty in the first place

  • @hannahfanna789

    Thank you!

  • I loooooooove this video and it helped alot! Thank you so much!

P.S You have gorgeous skin. :)

  • @TheLyricsPlease

No worries! Glad that I helped. Thanks for the compliment but my skin is no longer that way now. Having skin crisis, hoping for it to go away.

  • I feel that you are becoming the next Michelle Phan (except you are MALAYSIAN!!) I'm happy to say that you are making Malaysians shine^^ anyways I was hoping that you could make a review about BB cream (hopefully Korean brands) as I need some suggestions....You rock =)

  • @Ewch7796

Thank you for such lovely comment. Regarding BB cream, I have reviewed one on Skin Food, you may check it from my blog. I didn't really have much interest on BB cream after that. Recently I tried one and I'm fine with it, it's from Maybelline.

  • Hi, I have really pale skin would this look ok on me or would it look to dark? Your really pretty!! x

  • @Misstinygirl1

Thank you. Just look for the one suitable for skin tone, it shouldn't look dark but compliments your skin tone.

  • still not pretty

  • @okoikolong

    LOL

  • what was the color name of the powder you used?

  • @musicalbwayfreak

    OC1 Light Ochre

  • i thought it was talc free? but its written talc on the back.

  • @candyflossstar

    I don't think it's talc free

  • I''m goin to purchase this (:

  • @jazziepunks2OO

How is the product treating you?

  • @TraclynYeoh it's great ! you should really try this !

  • i decided that i wnt 2 buy a maybeline but i dnt know what kind should i pick it up cuz theres 2 many...

  • @lalagirl211

Decide on what you really want. This foundation is pretty good as well as their mascaras.

  • does nybdy knw where do u get it in india or where would i get the best deal online?

  • Ok, whats the point of putting the mineral in the lid and using it there if you're just going to tap the brush and swirl it in the sifting jar anyway?

  • @7853426347

You need to sift the powder out of the jar in order to get a decent amount. Tapping the brush is to remove the excess powder and to make sure you get even coverage on your skin.

  • How much does the one your using cost?

  • @awsomechic247

    About MYR40+

  • I tried the kabuki in store, she's so right, its terrible.

  • @KitaDyer

    Thank you!

  • I have the whole line for my skin tone and LOVE it. You can really control the amount of coverage you want, and i don't have the best even-skin tone and it makes it look very even. The best part is that it doesn't feel heavy and doesn't rub off on clothes easy.

  • @anapana83

    Agree!

  • what shade is the minerals youre wearing?

  • @yyymystrygirl

    OC1 Light Ochre

  • i use this and i love it ! works great specially cuz my skin goes RED when im in the sun this covers up great :) i recommend it

  • @TheWonderland99

Glad that it worked on you~

  • what's the price???

  • @mahtexas

    I bought at MYR40 +

  • if u add a few bucks u gonna buy better than maybeline powder, i always buy lip gloss , eyeliner, mascara from revelon or maybeline, but powder foundation so important , i'd rather buy better quility

  • @mena7100

In Malaysia the price difference is much greater. Revlon is more expensive about half - double of Maybelline's pricing.

  • Lol thats a long name ! xD Maybelline Clear Smooth Healty Powder Foundation

  • @princessyenio

    It is!

  • @TraclynYeoh Lol i subscribed ^-^

  • what shade did u get it in? thnx.

  • @hon3ybee123

    OC1 Light Ochre

  • luv this stuff

  • @makeupbyD5

    Not too bad, right?

  • i'm 13 years old, do you think i should buy it?

Is the kabuki that bad? :(

i dont want to spend more money on buying a kabuki brush

    thanks:D<3

  • @candyflossstar

The kabuki is not worth using at all but the powder is good. It depends on you to make a purchase.

  • your product is a different one from the mineral power but it looks the same

  • @ForeverBeautyful22

Many products always changes it's name when it arrives to different countries.

  • is this product suited for people with acene prone and oliy skin ? ive been looking for a loose powder that is suited for my skin and i heard about this product and alot of people say its good so i want to try but i wanna know if its good for my skin ? and is it good for not making your skin shiny ?

  • @jerelynjoy110

I have acne & oily skin and it works fine with me. It's even suitable for everyday use.

  • @jewel635

Thank you! I wear less makeup in person

  • Where do I buy this product in America? I've been looking for some makeup for a long time. Please help ,e.

  • @chocopie0

It should be available in your local drugstore.

  • Fast review, i like it.

  • @simpeely

  • wow Impressive!

  • @odilets

  • ooooo it looks good and natural!! =)

  • @Sstirr

    Thank you!

  • what brush are you using in this vid?

  • @0opAuRuNo0

It's a kabuki made from China, Keli 723

  • What color or tint are you using because i think thats the one that fits me. thanks ahead for helping!:)

  • @odilets

    I'm using OC1 Light Ochre

  • i think im gonna buy it! :D

  • @pajjsen

Let me know what you think about it.

  • i like the yellow tone. i have brown skin and the yellow tone complements it.

have no problems with the brush, but yeah i'm very biased towards m.a.c brushes to be honest XD but i agree on a lot of your observations. :D

  • @m2y0t9a

Thank you but my kabuki end up in my drawer without much doing :P

  • i bought this not long ago. one big difference it's done on me, is that, my foundation stays longer than how it was. and my skin looks flawless in pictures :) the kabuki doesn't feel that nice on my skin. nevertheless, i'm happy with the product :)

  • @solacevy

I'm glad that you like it.

  • what is the blush you have on?????

  • @mikebjx

Elianto Ultra Smooth Blusher in Soft Pink

  • i have this mine isnt like a yellow color though i forgot what my shade was lol but i liked this foundation alot and i had no problems with the brush i actually like the brush alot to:)

  • @Transcripts33

    Good for you!

I just had the brush kept aside. It's too harsh on my face.

  • what shade is the powder? light or medium?

  • @ange019

    Light Ochre

  • does this cause you to break out at all? I read reviews that it does alot.

  • @iLuvC0okie

I didn't have any breakout while using this. Always make sure the brush used for application is always clean~

  • I know how you can use the kabuki and make the brush bristles smooth! Use michellephan's idea and wash your brushes in olive oil and soap, and it will come out better!

    Adi =)

  • @A2Zcreations

Have you tried it? I have oily and acne-prone skin, therefore leading me not liking oil-based products.

  • what kind of skin do you have?

  • Oily and acne-prone skin =)

  • I just bought this today. I think I dont like it. It looks chalky.

  • It settle on my skin after some time and it look pretty natural.

  • When I first saw this, I thought it was the normal maybelline minerals. But then I realized it was "Clear smooth healthy" Minerals. The original one broke me out all over the face! IDK if i should try this one. Do they sell it at drug stores? And did it break you out as well?

Also, how do you chose the right color if you can't sample the product before purchasing it? I need tips!!

  • Oh, poor you. This product didn't break out on me. I suggest you might want to look out for more reviews who has the same skin type as you. You may find them at drugstores. There were samples for me to pick the right shade and I sample them on my jawline, the shade that disappears on my skin is my shade.

  • very nice, I like this foundation too.

  • Thank you.

  • would you recommend Loreal Bare Naturale or Maybelline Mineral Powder?

your video is amazing. the best makeup review i have seen. NO JOKE. you list the gram, the product, the ingredients, you dont talk much but you get the point across. thank you so much!

  • Thanks for the compliment. However I have not tried L'oreal mineral at all.

  • which brush do you reccomend thats cheap?

  • I heard a lot of good reviews on the Ecotool retractable kabuki, you might want to try them. I found my kabuki in one of my local stores.

  • im sorry but thats alot of minerals

  • Maybe I'm still new on using it at that point of time. Sort of overdone it a little.

  • I think the Powder is REALLY good, just the kabuki isn't. :D

  • I agree~ thanks for the feedback!

  • For those who live in US, which shade(s) that has light-medium with yellow tone?

And for those who live in Asia, which shade(s) has light-medium with yellow tone?

    Thanks!!

  • In Asia, there is about 6-8 shades available. About half of it is with yellow undertone. Not sure which shade is light-medium ones.
