  • An exceptional cover... when you can close your eyes and be taken away just as you are with the original, you know it's good.

  • Terrific cover. I can really love now.

  • @11xzxzxz Good for you!

  • Very impressed guys - diolch yn fawr (that's 'thank you' in Welsh)

  • @welshcanadian1 Thanks!

  • Sounds good.

  • @JRCrowley Thanks!

  • Best cover ever!

  • @baax Thanks!

  • @MECressey

Your welcome dude, your bass man is on point.

I grew up listening to this shit, Ive seen many a rocking party getting down to this tune, gave me a fuzzy feeling all over

  • great job

  • Cracking version of a cracking song. Neil Young is king

  • great version guys

  • Great job!

  • Thanks!

  • Well done! That was a terrific cover of a great tune.

  • Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • wow whata great job..the sound quality its just great

  • Thanks! We worked hard to get the sound quality right.

  • damn guys...very nice job. I was looking for a live neil version, but this sounds great!!!

  • Thanks! The vocals could have been better but hey it's a live performance.

  • Sounds good! I really enjoyed it. Thanks.

  • Thank you!

  • What was amplifier set up for the Les Paul? Pretty close to Neil's tone. Sounds great.

  • It's a Fender '62 Brown Vibrolux. Yes - it sounds similar to Neil's Fender Deluxe because it has 6L6 tubes (which Neil modded his Deluxe to use). However, it's the bridge pickup that really gives the Neil "tone".

  • Cool. Thanks. I've been wanting to get a 6L6 powered amp for this very reason. Were you just driving the amp naturally into overdrive, or did you have pedals up front?

    Also, what's the bridge pickup?

  • I was driving the amp using a Hot Plate. I do use a Seymour Duncan Boost pedal for leads.

The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan firebird copy.

  • If you guys would get some better clothes and lose some weight, you might have something. You do a credible job with this. Thumbs up.

  • I love it! give mine a peep

  • Fantastic - really enjoyed this. Where are you guys? So accurate and sounds so good. Nearly as good as the real thing ...

  • You folks are all too kind! Broken Arrow is no longer an active band but we live on in spirit (and these videos). We're from Redlands, CA and we'll never be as good as Neil (but we try). Thanks again!

  • When did you split up? Why did you split up?

  • We didn't actually split up - we got a new bass player, but we stopped doing all Neil Young. I was never successful in marketing the band, and some of the other members wanted to branch out, although I'd be content with just doing Neil. I may resurrect the band someday.

  • A little "shakey" ... hehe... anyway, I really enjoyed that! Really well played, and great work on duplicating Neil's guitar tone... it's spot-on.

  • Thanks! I modified my LP to be like Neil's, plus I use an amp that can give a similar sound to his.

  • you guys rock!!!

  • Thanks! "When You Dance" is actually a little shakey (we hadn't played in a while when it was filmed). Broken Arrow is actually not a performing band right now but I'd like to keep the project alive.
