Hhmm, Im not standing up for these people breeding the horses, but certain breeds in India are on the thinner, smaller scale. The stud looks like a Marwari(bigger fuller built) and the mare looks more like a Kathiawari. Theyre smaller and thinner built and have thin necks and high withers. The studs and geldings seem a little fuller, but the mares dont.... Look at the breed before making a snap judgement. Ive been around horses for 32 years and there are many makes and models!

This is ridiculous... She is obviously not even in heat and she obviously looks like she doesn't want to mate at all but you people are forcing her to! That "mare" of yours looks like a very young filly to me.. I am guessing her age to be 1 to 2 years old? Thats way too young to breed a female horse.. If she conceived it is very dangerous for the baby and mother.. I mean she could die giving birth to the child because her reproductive system is not even done maturing to properly handle a child!

You know, at first glance, I thought she was too thin as well, but the more I look at her, I am beginning to wonder if what I suspected as her ribcage is actually a pattern marking on her flank. Also the mare does not look receptive to the stallion. She stands with no sign to be in heat and seems even negative to the stallion. She might be the shy type I guess.

Beautiful stallion, lovely condition and very well behave. In my opinion the mare looks very young and immature. At what age do you breed your mares over there. 3 years old is the youngest I would recommend. If you breed younger that will slow down the developement of the mare to grow and will produce smaller foals.
