I am currently on a project where we are installing over 100 new Drain Manholes and catchbasins and over 1.5 Miles of new 12 inch to 28 inch Reinforced concrete drainage pipe as part of a $9 Million Dollar State Project.
you guys use all pre-cast manhole bases out there? almost all of our manholes bases are poured in place and then the shafts are pre-cast and stacked according to grade, ill have to make a video and show you
were not doing a ton of work here right now its pretty slow economy in southern california but i should be starting a 21 foot deep sewer in a month or so. ill get some good footage from that
ive had large similar storm drain structures built that way the monolithic pour makes a super watertight basin but its a bit time comsuming, i can pour a manhole base and stack it with shafting the same day if necessary so with the ladder steps already built into them i guess it just depends on where you work and your budget!!!!
Holly crap!!! 18 tons with a 345! Here it took a Bricon's 365B to lift a 19 tons concrete pipe! I didn't thaught a 50t excavator could lift that kind of manhole!
I just Finished a job where we put in 700 ft of 52 Inch RCP Drainage pipe 30 Feet into the ground.

@Hduppln The company I worked for ran boats and poured their man holes in place then added sections and grade rings to bring it up plumb.

I would dig, they would pour and shape and I would stack and then back fill that same day. It only took a few hours to do it with the crew we had.
