  • In the frakkin' computer?. I hear nothin' but static!

  • IT'S IN THE FRAKEN SHIP!

  • I remember watching this episode for the first time. By the end of it, I was standing on the back of my couch with no recollection of how I got there. SO INTENSE.

  • what kind of parent would play this for their newborn every day until around 5 years old, then sit and wait for the child's mind to be blown when they see BSG one day?

    ...an awesome one

  • Season 3 finale was brilliant but also a little creepy, realising you are not what you thought

  • nothing will never come close to this, hopefully blood and chrome will be a close second

  • Are they playing music in here now?

  • seriously, WHY did they do only 4 seasons? this series was like THE space tv series. beats star trek or any other any day. im a big sw fan and i still think its inferior to BSG. this is the bomb. NOTHING out there can even begin to compare.

  • @Ryagful Yeah, short, indeed, but extraordinary. Greatest TV-series I've ever watched.

But I'm kind of sad about that (in my eyes) weak ending. [spoiler] The scenes on earth² are great, but that Cavil/Cylon/Helena conflict was imo not the right finale.

  • @Crunor Ditto re greatest TV show ever. Bought the mini series 3 weeks ago and have just seen the final episode last night...............was a huge fan of the origional so avoided it till now,....***SPOILER****......only question I have though is, just WTF was Kara then? I thought she was going to be that missing cylon that ellen referenced, the moody artistic one that they "geneticaly altered".......ah well. Only probs with the Cavil scene was he suddenly turned into Al from Quantum Leap :)

  • @2manynegativewaves - Kara is from the light people that were in the first 70s series IMHO they generated her. The plan before the plan, the makers of the 5. Kara comes from the light city that travels. This is unexplored because this can opens up a whole new series.

  • @twobombs HHHmmmm, maybe, who knows...the final 5 did remind me of the light people tbh,in between season two and saving for season 3 I re watched the origionals on here so I did wonder...I still have not seen The Plan,so Im hopping a couple of other questions I now have are answered ....please,no spoilers :)

  • @2manynegativewaves My idea on Kara could be a spoiler in an up coming series, so no spoilers there. However: you really *should* see the Plan. Really :)

  • @twobombs Ha,dont I know it!! Im jonesin for more BSG at the mo' , I swear, walking my dog this afternoon the clouds were Battlestar shaped ,I started watching Law and Order UK again just because Apollo is in it,and he wasnt even in my top 20 charectors, I bought my first plastic kit in about 20 years,a mkII Viper.....:):)

  • @2manynegativewaves hehe, as long as one doesn't see the Adama move when you look in the skies you're ok (-ish) :)

  • @twobombs so say we all!! Ok, got to admit, to a Brit that whole "so say we all" mularky is a bit cringe worthy,if baltar had stayed pres' Im sure he would have changed it to " Time for a nice cuppa and a Scone!"...;)

  • @2manynegativewaves It is generally known that the Colonials have no culture; they know it, we know it :) LOL

  • @Crunor

what do you want as a finale then?

  • @JonLevesqueg Google Battlestar Galactica Online. It's probably the first link.

  • What the hell? ITS coming out from the walls =D

  • i kept waiting for someone to sing the next few verses of hope...

"no reason to get excited, / the thief he kindly spoke, / there are many here among us / who feel that life is but a joke. / but you and i, we've been through that / and this is not our fate. / so let us stop talking falsely now, / the hour's getting late"

in other words, it's ok to be a frakking cylon ;)

  • @jangoisbaddest

I hope it gets released, that was particular arrangement of the song was awesome.

  • theres allready a tune like that among us

  • Damn, what is the song playing as they exit the room? It isn't all along the watchtower and it isn't this.

  • @willthack13

Yeah, Bear made an arrangement of Watchtower for the soundtrack. The actual original cue has not been released yet, but will be (according to him).

  • "And just like that... after all this time... a switch goes off just like that"

  • Commandergwonam sent me here!

  • what the frack! they're cylons... kara is the fifth, motha'fraka!

  • @greatestdirector No she isnt. (Spoiler warning) The fifth Cylon is Ellen Tigh. You should watch it first...

  • @DrDreamerstein

it's been a considerable time since i finished all the episodes... ;-) but kara is not kara though... something volatile...

  • "It's in the frakkin' ship!"

  • All I need is that crescendo at the beginning to get me excited. In my pants.

  • OH MAN.

  • There's a brief guitar riff on this melody that plays just after Tigh's "That's the man I want to be" speech and just before All Along the Watchtower kicks up. I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

    Sad. :(

  • @SuperSaiyanAl

Bear's going to release the "pure" version of All Along the Watchtower from Crossroads II at some point. The version you hear in the show is much, much longer than the one on the album (3:33 on album, more than five in show).

  • "And I can't get no relief."

  • @christiangoth84 buisness me they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth

  • @ThePoe537 none of them along the line know what any of it is worth

  • @mrslovvet No reason to excited

  • @BleachedWaffles The thief, he kindly spoke.

  • That Frakkin' song. It's coming from the walls! I can't get it out of my head.

  • YIFFING TIME.

  • "There's to much confusion.

  • "Said the joker to the thief"

  • "There must be some way out of here."

  • JACK BLACK WILL STEAL YOUR SOUL, thanks CommanderGwonam. >:(

  • thats pretty cool >_>

  • that first few seconds of the song are just mindblowing...this...sound...

(if this starts playing in the middle of the night I think I might sh** myself xD)

  • @TehBlackFox LoL! I nearly did, I was in my car in the middle of nowhere and the signal to the radio started fading in and out as I drove through the mountains, lots hiss etc. Then I started to hear this song, very faintly. I started tuning the radio and it went away. Then about 5 minutes later it came back again, just at the edge of my hearing. To cut a long story short, it kept happening and I was starting to get freaked, Turned out my mobile was not locked in my pocket! Gods Damn!

  • 6 toasters heard this song and airlocked themselves.

  • WILL SOMEONE TURN OFF THAT MUSIC!!!

Thumbs up if baltar deserved to be guilty for his crimes

  • @CyphaOwns

    baltar is awesome ;d ...

  • @acleverboy No he's a hipocrite

  • @CyphaOwns Of course he is, but flaws make the character's interesting. Roslin is for example also a hypocrite for pushing the trial even after passing a general pardon, Adama is a traitor for launching a Coup. It makes them human. It made BSG a great show.

And at the end of the day, the defence made it's case, the prosecution didn't.

  • I wish this song was longer.

  • IT'S IN THE FRAKING SHIP!

  • Its in the FRAKKING SHIP!!

  • there must be a way out of here ... said the joker to the thief. god that's just one of my fav lines ever

  • Literally sent shivers down my spine! ' Were Cylons; and we have been from the start"

  • "IT'S IN THE FRAKKING SHIP!" - Colenel Tigh, thinks he has been halucinating this music, shouting for someone to "frakking turn that music off" when nothings playing O.O

He along with Tory, Samuel Anders, Galen Tyroll heed this call, however with various ways.

This along with "All along the watchtower" and "Kara's Co-ordinates" truly are a marvel bestowed upon us this day in the genre of music befitting this masterpeice :)

  • @RampagingDragon1 Although I agree with your comment, can I recommend removing some of the information like the characters names to avoid spoilers :)

  • @RampagingDragon1 Is there anyone you can hate more thoroughly than Tory ever portrayed in BSG? She is an unrepentantly selfish bitch with no conscience. She worse than Ellen, I think as bad or worse than Cabil.

  • This series is excellent its !

  • why does everyone get the good quotes in before me? frakkers!

  • S3 finale best ending to a season...EVAR

  • @reg074

I agree with you 100% there mate.

  • @reg074

season 4 ending however worst anticlimax ever

  • @bushie09

It wasn't so bad. I enjoyed it ;]

  • @reg074

    Naah man..

Though i agree Season 3 was frakkin awesome, but the Season 4 Finale was the best i have ever seen. :)

  • "My name is Saul Tigh. I'm an officer in the Colonial Fleet. Whatever else I am, whatever else it means, that's the man I want to be. And if I die today, that's the man I'll be."

  • too short

  • That creeping, haunting lead... and the explosion of energy at 1:20. Love it.

  • BSG the greatest series every to be on TV. It has everything from action all the way to one of the greatest dramas ever, and the music always sets the mood in every scene just perfectly

  • IT'S IN THE FRAKKIN SHIP!

  • is there a more sped u version of this in the soundtrack? one that uses the refrain a bit more often

  • @JasonRobards2 yeh, all along the watchtower, this is kinda like an intro to it.

  • @JasonRobards2 go and find karas remembers(piano), karas coordinates or something like... (kind of rock? guitar)

  • Does anyone know what genre this music is classified as? I need more.

  • @Hoshikage869

There's no genre to which this music can be categorized into: it's just incomparably marvellous!

  • @Hoshikage869 Its Bear McCreary theres nothing out there ive found that even sounds like this

  • Love this. It has such an edge to it it!

  • BSG for the win

  • I love this frakking song!

  • It's in the fraking ship, lol

    Great stuff.

  • No no, it's in the frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrakking ship!

  • This song still gives me goosebumps! BSG, hell of a series :)

  • Completely agree with you there. This had to be the best climax ending with that music to a season, I have ever seen.

    Just Epic.

  • S3 finale was the best thing I have ever seen. It was like getting slapped in the face 50 times. Like "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!"

  • More like..."what the FRAK is going on here?!?!?!"

  • Just finished the last ep of S4...did NOT see that coming. wow...I was blown away! seriously.

  • This track still gives me goosebumps to this day. Brilliant!

  • I love the "wail" that starts low at 1:19. Then it screeches at 1:30 on. :)

  • yeah,,,the best

  • S3 finale was fucking epic

  • just like that a switch goes off

  • "We're Cylons..... and we have been.... from the start."

  • I love this song, its so middle eastern its cool! Now that I think about it, most of the music thats played on Battlestar Galactica does sound middle eastern... coooooooooooool.

  • thats cos that type of music can be playd for anything...relgious, drama, epic....and so on...and the region is where many of the cultures sprang from when u think bout it

  • Middle Eastern, Byzantine or Greek, yes. And it is absolutely fabulous.

  • "DEADBOLT THAT FRAKKIN' DOOR!"

  • "its in the frakkin ship!"

  • @reg074 Tigh's absolute proof of alcoolism :P

  • @reg074 You mean "It's in the ffffffffffffrAKKIN shiap!"

  • I skip horny and go straight to jizz my pants at 1:42 - 2:06

  • they evolved in to skiny grey beings came back 150,000 years later abducted hybrid descendants and started anal probing them

  • Ha! Nice.

  • i wonder what happened to those centurions the final five released

  • probaly stayed as machines and just wondered round the universe...they saw that pure cylons r doomed so they probaly fuigured why bother evolving

  • All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again. Bring on the cylons in the present day!

  • God created man , man created machine and machine created machine and machine created machine........................

  • @jeshopk:

I hear insulting other people's successful work makes your own terrible music sound better.

    confirm/deny?

...yes, I found your site. Hopefully I was mistaken, and you just happen to have the same username, but wow, talk about boring musical excrement. I felt like I was listening to John Williams having a seizure.

  • @hchano

Truer words have never been spoken, haha!

  • lol what did I say? I can't remember =[

  • You were putting some schmuck straight who was downtalking McGreary's music.

  • OH YEAH that guy. Oh man, what a butt sore loser haha. I forgot all about him. Really, his own music sounded like he listened to the soundtrack to Star Wars daily and decided he would only do that style of music. I dislike close minded people and he obviously couldn't handle this kind of music going along with a Sci Fi show lol.

Btw, totally not dissing John Williams, guy is pretty amazing himself.

  • Simply superb. RIP Starbuck, you will not be forgotten. ♥

  • Why do you bother even commenting any of these videos, let alone watch them, if all you're gonna do is say shit about them?

  • He's just jealous that his own music is terribly ordinary. =(

  • This song makes me think of Starbucks viper blowing up o.o

  • There must be someway out of here.

Brilliant series. I envy anyone who is just starting to watch this.

  • i loved it when kara said that int he last episode before jumping to earth 2...classic

  • Best TV experience EVER !

  • I dont get it :O....

  • Who does?

  • this so awesome. it is just so eerie and proof of why BSG was one of the best shows ever!

  • Yep. Still gives me chills. Goddamn this show was awesome.

  • "What the frak!?" - Tigh

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • who hasn't seen it yet? but still i apologize. ill remove it. though there was a joke in there.

  • I'm almost tempted to drop some acid just to see what this song would sound like when I'm tripping.

  • Great Track , silmpy THE BEST !!!

  • This has all happened before...and it will all happen again...again...again...again

  • And so it will come to pass

the dying leader shall no the truth of the opera house

you are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace

you will lead them all to their end

  • It was a bad time for Col. Tigh. First he gets torn down by Romo Lampkin on the stand, then he discovers he's a frakkin' toaster.

  • Romo Lampkin was like kick ass though...Tigh's best lines in those episodes i think

  • IT'S IN THE FRAKKIN SHIP

  • True. Lampkin was very kick ass.

"For forty years, I've been an officer in the Colonial fleet" and "If I die today......" are why Col. Tigh is the best character in all of BSG.

  • this song.. and starbucks piano song.. always give me some strange sensation.. when i hear it it huants me, it listen to this night and day..the song jumbles as it play. The tune echos in my mind like a melody of fate. Call me a cylon.. call my crazy... i call it comphorting. Im heeding the call... are you?

  • I want some of w.e he is smoking!!!

  • Its called battlestar Galactica :D

  • I cant get no relief...

  • "There must be some kinf of way ouy of here..."

  • said the joker to the thief

  • There's too much confusion...

  • And I can't get no relief

  • I can't get no relief

  • buisness men drink my wine...

  • Plowmen dig my earth...

  • But none of them along the line, Know what any of it is worth

  • Comment removed

  • Its in the Fraking Ship!

  • I just love this music!

  • oh and I LOVE how the pianoguy turns out to be Starbucks father!

  • The remake is awesome!

I did prefer the old uniforms and I don't like CGI cylons, but the acting and storytelling is great!

  • My name is Saul Tigh. I am an officer in the Colonial Fleet and if I die today, whatever else I may be, that's the man I want to be.

  • I've never seen the original Battlestar Galactica, so I don't know how the remake compares with it. But I hope you people agree that the remake is one of the BEST TV SHOWS OF ALL TIME!!!

  • Comment removed

  • There was a better version than this one when Starbuck was playing the piano. By the way if Starbuck's father taught her that song then do you think Starbuck's father was the other cylon that was boxed?

  • No, Ron Moore said that was not the case and that there is no connection between Starbuck's father and the boxed #7.

  • Shoot, there goes my half-Cylon theory.

  • yeah I have no idea how the hell he knew that song either and that was what I figured was up

  • Does anyone else hear that?

  • It's in the WALLS!

  • It's in the frakkin' ship!

  • best bit is where starbuck starts playing it on piano and saul says "what the frak!?"

  • Comment removed

  • I just rewatched Crossroads, pt. 2 and man...The ending redefines "awesomeness":). Its legendary, seriously, what a ride!

  • Comment removed

  • "It's in the frakking ship!"

Awesome haunting way to end part 1 of a season finale.

  • what's in the frakking ship?....i think i missed that episode...
