  • I am a H.S. hitting coach and I always liked the "Drop Foot" drag Bunt where u set the Right foot back in a sprinter stance (for RH not LH). He said 3rd basemen read that 2 well in the MLB. He said they used 2 do that, but they "got away from that" 1:35. I think it's good for a H.S. kid and most rightys prefer it (on my H.S. team), but I see his point about the deseption aspect. I might use this.Of course he's also WAY more experienced then me as well and it all makes sence. Great Vid .

  • Is there some reason I can't record videos here anymore? Did YouTube do something or is it my computer? Thanks.

  • yea, you should be a major league coach not him, your the expert

  • Legit....this guy is MLB material so it doesn't shock me that he knows what he is talking about

  • i wish i was a baseball player!

  • it wouldve been great if you couldve done this from a left hand batter perspective

  • dude. your good at talking but i have to correct you on a few points. dont drag bunt an outside pitch you mess with the angle of the bat making you likely to bunt to the pitcher. also. you jab stab not just pivot. other than that good

  • @bobbycarrot1 Actually I can see your thinking in the outside pitch messing up angles, and a lot of players wait for their pitch. However if they want to attempt to bunt the outside pitch, Bill Springman is correct - that cross of the leg will remove a lot of the angle loss. Still a good idea to wait for a pitch over the plate if you can.

Yeah you can jab step with the pivot - that's a player/coache's choice or instruction, just make sure you're still in that line with 1st base = Running pos.

  • What a great video!
