yes as a matter of fact it's true. if you're clever you can make the most of london town with just the money of the oyster and be ready to walk a lot.
Im living in the UK too now as a language assistant.
oh my goodness! what a great video! LOVE that you went to the british museum and the national gallery. but what i LOVE most of all...churchill's bunker. nice.
Or perhaps you could try to see as many cold-weather stuff as you could in a minute? That way there would be less things to see (as you might be limited to inside?). MAKE28 FOREVER!!!
Good job, Rob! All that in under $30! I am not so certain that the Queen REALLY lives at Buckingham Palace, either! I mean,we were there for the chging of the guard, and she didn't BOTHER to poke her head out the window!
"Shrive" Tuesday? I thought it was Shrove Tuesday . . . from the verb shrive, though, "to hear, or make, confession." I wonder why we put it in past tense in the U.S.
Oh pancake races, I miss those elementary school days. We used Frisbees, not frying pans: the frying pans were too heavy. And the pancakes always went to our principal's dog because they fell on the floor so many times.
@segenist Ah, no the travel card was about 5-6 pounds. The 10 pounds was my running total for the entire day.

Nice, that's pretty awesome. Loved the piper and two drummers, my friend actually plays in a pipe band. He's a side-snare.

This was great. I am a big fan of super cheap travel. Maybe I will try something like this with Chicago and a minute... when it gets warmer.

Great video man!

Thanks!
Re Harrods: That's why my money counter didn't change after I visited Harrods...otherwise I would have broken the bank.

Nice.
And the pirating was good.
But Rob, calling me by ableushoe? I thought we were on a first name basis by now. [wink]
Ableushoe 3 years ago
We do, but I thought I'd give your channel some publicity, you ungrateful jerk.
artifex85 3 years ago
Oh Rob. I know I'm never gonna be a YouTube star.

This doesn't change the fact that I still want a new episode of Jukin' Japan.

Now I want pancakes . . .

Yeah, you're right...it is Shrove Tuesday. Clearly, I was a little tired when I recorded that bit. Thanks for the correction.

Thanks again for the correction- I added it in!
