Lol blessed spirit shields are only 4 mil and have no negative attack bonuses, and unholy books cost barely anything to fill and have the best off-hand ranged attack bonus.

Im a clue hunter so what i do is: Attacking Hell hounds and when they drop clues i complete them. And so on... There weak against range so its easy hitting it, they also drop clues fast. So with the reward you get from clue you can buy ranging stuff again and attack hell hounds. Until you get 3rd age (btw i got 3rd mage once)
