  • oh it is a beko :P i own one and my door looks exactly like that :L

  • lol

  • not sure I understand the POINT of the video...although I am FOR resusable shopping bags and the stop of the use of plastic. What was the point of the washing machine situation? must be british humor.

  • It is just meant to be a bit of an abstract way of saying 're-use'....it was also part of some research ...

  • over 500 millions bag is produced every year since 2001, and 20 percent of them end up in the ocean.

  • is that a Beko washer?

  • it is a beko...how did you know?????

    are you an expert?

  • yeah

  • mmmm interesting.. works well with 're wind'..

ban the bag.. sign the petition to make High Wycombe's new shopping centre 'EDEN' live up to it's name, and be the first [plastic bag free centre in the country!

  • I don't use plastic and certainly NOT a washingmachine. I use a Washboard ! Not for washing, but for playin on ! *Smile*

Ever heard of Washboard Sam ? He's on my site !

    Peace and clean sheets !

  • i think we should have to pay for each bag we use. why should they be free? Advertising is the only reason I can think of. It would encourage the use of recyclable bags or boxes.

    Paul

  • i think thats a good idea, it would also give them some value if we paid for them, which would be better than no value at all!

  • Using the washing machine isn't very sustainable is it.

Some eco friendly bleach and hot tap water would suffice.

  • i really think you are right actually!

  • do your part and recycle and it will help ease the strain on land fills also plastic is a petroleum product

  • Really good idea. If you put them in at 60 degrees, that might shrink them?!

  • Good editing!

  • nothing special

  • wow good job thumbs up for u

  • Well done Lynne. Liked the ticking clock. In Ireland we put a tax on plastic bags because of the epidemic of plastic bags littering our countryside and fluttering on trees like some strange mutant fruit. Now we hardly see one and most people have come on board very enthusiastically. In short, the tax works.

    RonanG

  • i might use that comment you have made in an essay if you dont mind ronan??

  • Be my guest Lynne. Anything for the cause.

    Ronan.

  • That was drastic.. |:)

  • V good :) --mind you I just reuse my bags don't wash them :p

  • heehee

  • I'll send it to G.W. Bush, not that it'll do any good, but Y the hell not!

  • yes why not, i think thats a really good idea!

  • Hello Lynne! Good job on this! im sure happy to share it, and send it on; every little bit each of us can do helps! Best of luck with all your work on your Masters; anything I can do to help Im happy to. Thumbs up! Also, i like the ticking of the clock there.... speaks volumes. Your friend, Cassidy

  • thanks for mentioning the clock, i am glad you thought it worked :-)

  • very good

  • You have to pay 22 cent here in Ireland for

a plastic bag in any shop. Why is plastic not made from seed oil or veg oil? It will bio degrade... The world is gone mad.

  • To Irish friend: it's just the same nonsense in Belgium... To think of all the sea beings these kill... beings who've never done anything to hurt others either, unlike we 'evolved and superior' humans....

  • Superior fools.

  • The hell is this? o.O

  • YEP, THATS ABSURD ALRIGHT, why dont they stop making them, then they are not there for us to use!!???
