You can clearly see where Mcqueen drew his final show's inspiration from. I find there's a common ground as to why Mugler stopped after this collection and Mcqueen did after his. You simply cannot surpass these creations. It's as if they had both reached the point of exhaustion.

I usually like Mugler's work, but these dresses are UGLY. Ok, they're very very well made -that's is incontestable- but this is three costumes came from a weird sci-fi movie... Absolutely any normal woman would wear that (apart, perhaps, Lady Gaga but I sincerely don't think if she'd dare to push the vice so far)...

@0kyos his haute couture is more like art i think. And art is purley a matter of taste ;) btw: mugler always creates a "dietversion" of his haute couture outfits wich are more wearable but still not affordable -.- xD and if id would be thin enough id wear that!! lol

No matter what outlandish designs Gallano and Mcqueen put on the runway, they don't come close to the last oufit in this show. There is something about Mugler couture that sets him apart from the rest. Its the kind with an X Factor.

The last dress is amazing... Its called the 'Chimere' gown and its based on the idea of oriental Dragons! It cost £4.5 Million to create and it consists entirely of metal plates and multicoloured Swarovski Crystals!

Mugler's clothes were suppose to shock, that what he did best, he always stay true to his vision. if he wanted to play it safe there are many designers who do that. maybe we wouldn't be talking about him now if he was like the rest. all i know is i have clients who worn his clothes. that CEO of Clarins was greedy and as you can see his perfume is still selling . you think Dior's numbers are so great. i don't think so.
