The type of creatine you got doesn't dissolve in watter, its like swallowing sandy water but to make it better drink it with a thicker drink like Orange Juice. And when you make your protein shake if your diet forbids mix it with 5 ounces of milk per scoop. I also suggest spending 3 bucks on a blender bottle.

These shakes are taken AFTER a high intensity workout where your glicogen and overall carbs stores are all pretty much depleted. As a result, all the carbs/sugars in the shake will be used to actually restore the muscle into normal status, getting fat/diabetic is not a risk in these situations.
Milk is hard to break down (casein protein), so using it in post workout shake is actually wrong. You want your shake to be easy and fast to digest, so my advice, use bananas, milk, whey and creatine online, its all you need. If you can afford it, you can also use Dextrose to replace the bananas.

Oatmeal is a slow-digesting carb, which contains shit loads of fibre which slows down digestion even more, which is pretty fucking stupid to take at post-workout. Your body is hungry for carbs after a workout and you need fast carbs e.g. maltodextrine or dextrose.
Your argumentation makes sense but just if you would consider sucrose as not fast enough too. Sucrose has a glycemic index of 61, oat has one of 58.
If you are looking for a lean muscle gain it does'n hurt to take "medium" fast sugars in front of the background to keep a steady level of insulin. These 10-20 minutes that it takes longer to absorb oat carbs than glucose from chocolate milk won't hinder your muscle to grow in an amount that it's worth to argue about it.

probably not. What do you put in yours? In my opinion, if you are going to bed about an hour or so after you workout, then it would probably be best to have a lot of fat in your shake , so that it slows down the protein absorption and allows you to stay in an anabolic state longer as opposed to just using a whey isolate with some water or juice that will lose its effects after about 1 hour.

than is bull....the only way youd lose that kind of weight is from water weight, your body eating muscle, and amybe a TINY bit of fat...carbs are necessary for your body to provide fuel....if you go low calorie/low carb your body will go into a starvation state and actually preserve the fat and look at your muscle as a great big old fuel source....

Well you cant take a chicken breast to my gym. I've just been having a variety of protein rich meals and snacks available and mix it up. When I don't have time I just have a snack, when I have time I have meals.
Once you get in the pattern it works well, far better than protein powders which make unrealistic claims and take your money..

first of all his tip about cut carbs to loose fat is wrong because the body will see the protein as the only calorie source so it uses the protein as energy not to build muscles, that is why you always need a little carbs to it! or apple!

God his not even that fit guys! His fuckin annoying to listen to. His making things sound complex but seriously.. it just comes down to working out hard, avoid bad foods and drinks, have good source of protein and fibre... avoid having too many carbs after 5pm.. eat lean meats and veges at night.. during the day eat smaller portioned meals.. you cant go wrong. I have leaned up heaps but just doing this... trust me.

I work out late (8pm) and I'm in bed by 9.15pm do I need to eat a whole food meal source of carbohydrates later after my PWOS or can I just cut it out.

probably not. What do you put in yours? In my opinion, if you are going to bed about an hour or so after you workout, then it would probably be best to have a lot of fat in your shake , so that it slows down the protein absorption and allows you to stay in an anabolic state longer as opposed to just using a whey isolate with some water or juice that will lose its effects after about 1 hour.

Hi Vince, i've been thinking of trying the ideal protien system to lose weight. You're supposed to lose 4-7 pounds a week and cut out carbs and all sugar. I would love to know what your opinon is on this. Thanks:)

than is bull....the only way youd lose that kind of weight is from water weight, your body eating muscle, and amybe a TINY bit of fat...carbs are necessary for your body to provide fuel....if you go low calorie/low carb your body will go into a starvation state and actually preserve the fat and look at your muscle as a great big old fuel source....

Its alot easier to make a protein shake, rather then to cook up some chicken, or buy those nasty frozen chicken strips ehhh. I've tried them, its well worth buying Protein Powder, but you can exactly take a chicken breast in the gym last time I checked. :)

Well you cant take a chicken breast to my gym. I've just been having a variety of protein rich meals and snacks available and mix it up. When I don't have time I just have a snack, when I have time I have meals.
Once you get in the pattern it works well, far better than protein powders which make unrealistic claims and take your money..

He seems like a nice enough guy, but he's just like the trainers in my gym that believe they are fitness gurus when in reality, a decent percentage of people in the gym are in far better shape than them. Instead of buying what this skinny guy is selling, ask for advice from the people in your gym that are actually muscular. They will probably be glad to help and it's free.
