That Uconnect Guardian feature never made it to the Grand Cherokee as of now atleast. What happened? Is it like OnStar where you have to pay for it or more like Sync where it works with your cellphone and dials 911 automatically? I know GM ist actually trying to make OnStar more like Sync. So maybe that's what Chrysler is doing with Uconnect?

its the 2005 GC body (only rounded off) and the from went back to the ugly Egg shaped 99 GC. the grill and headlights took a step back. kinda dissappointed :(

I have a Jeep liberty 2004 Limited and was looking to upgrade for a luxury SUV such as Audi Q5 or BMW X3. I always found Jeep GC interior to be under-par in terms of quality (cheap plastic, average leather) but now, I think this one is a big hitter and I will seriously consider it for next purchase. Good job Chrysler for this awesome vehicle

Obviously I like the power and looks of the current SRT8 but I hesitate to buy it cause its...how should put this...just not SUV enough, with its low clearance, no low end power or trailer hitch. This new one seems to fix all that. But I will still wait for the V8 version.

89xj I gave to an aunt, (it was stock, just 2wd, a little run around towner)

The ZJ is in a junkyard, I t-boned a Ram 3500 who ran a red light, that ZJ saved my life. (55+mph impact) Hit troubled times and had to sell the YJ and XJ.

I don't think they have any "engineering" skills left. They just suck on the teat of Daimler, or did. Now they have the chance, with financial backing from Fiat. French yes, but don't forget, AMC used to get its trannys from Renault.

Well, as 2008 MY owner I can truly say that they ruined the GC classic line. I mean,wonderful back side, too bad it is from the BMW X5. Ugly front, they simply raped the massive front side of the GC. The front looks like a mix between an Audi and a Range Rover,but no the same style.

At least finally we have"German luxury standard" interior, goodbye cheap plastics and leathers. Too early to say some about the new egines.

It's a nice car but it has no longer the GC classic american muscle style.
