I am trying so many recipes from youtube that I can't remember if I've already told you how delicious the poha turned out. I'm trying to resist eating it before my mum comes, but I have just eaten a big spoonful and I have to say my taste buds are going crazy with the awesome flavours. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe : )
@1slamicLife Thanks a lot! I am glad you liked a recipe and tried it. You know... people like you gives encouragement to others. Keep up the good work.
Wah Wah keya baat hai. I've already tried one version of poha. But my daal went rock hard. This one is definitely next on my list. Love the touch you gave it at the end with the grated coconut. Awesome!
@taiba441 No... I don't think you can make pressed rice at home... you can buy it from any Indian Grocerry store near you. It is called Phoa... buy the thick version.
Thank you very much for the clear explanation and the recipe. I love it. I am mexican. thanks to the introduction and explanation I will be able to buy the right ingredients.
Awesome ......There have been many ways of doing this and yours is the best method....thanks....

its nice but if pressed rice not available then wat to do bcz they look different from simple rice......
taiba441 10 months ago
@taiba441
It is diffrent from regular rice. The diffrence is like raw corn and corn-flex.
If pressed rice is not available then you can try plain rice cereals (unsweetened or very lightly sweetend).

Bhagyashri,
Good recipe for poha. In my opinion, you missed one key ingredient without which Poha is incomplete - Curry Leaves ( currypatta).
Also, some people like to add peas to their poha.
Anyhow, all in all very nice recipe. Thanks for sharing.
