  • What crap, I clicked on hear thinking NBC was doing a show on the Green Machine 1970's big wheel for kids!

  • This would have been a good report if it was in fact true.

Not even close to the fastest car there. More hyperbole for those who's hope is controlled by a sense of desperation. "The sky is falling" duck???

  • What about all that smoke from the killacycle burnout ????? Does that not pollute the enviorment ?

  • YEAH, GREEN RULES THE WORLD!

  • really how fun would it be with an electric engine? i ride my bike cause i love to feel the power and listen to the engine run, this would just be annoying

  • F*ck the enviroment

  • nothing Green about electric vehicles

the batteries look like a chemical nightmare

  • Im surprised GM hasn't bought out the zilla controllers and had them secretly destroyed..wouldn't surprise me

  • Fromt the Killacycle to the gas burners:

    "See ya in hell!"

  • No-one's ever seen the Volt move faster than 10-15mph - they probably have a golf cart drive-train in there just to show cameras that the prototype move. How can anyone mention this hype-mobile in the same context as a real-life, pure electric dragbike that is ready to break into the 7's in the quarter?!

  • Good to see the Killacycle get some mainstream coverage. I guess they mentioned the Volt to make he story understandable to the tiniest-minded of viewers. They are not going to mention the GM EV1 are they? GM might stop spending big bucks advertising on NBC!

  • I think the main reason they also mention the Volt is because GM is using Lithium batteries from A123 Systems, the same company that makes the batteries used in the Killacycle. If you look at A123's website, GM and the Volt are prominently displayed on the front page. This actually has me worried, because the Ni-Mh batteries that were used in the EV-1 are now unobtainable thanks to GM and Chevron. I hope the same thing won't happen to the excellent A123 batteries as well!
