  • Wow! What a gem of a find, here! I didn't know that a long version of this song existed. The wonderfully gorgeous, haunting melody, along with the funky rhythm and uniquie, snazzy vocals make for an awesome piece of music! It's hard to find music this fabulous anymore.

  • I bought the 12 " to Talkin' All That Jazz back in '89 with the Dominoes remix-not knowing The Byrd sample ( I know several of his works but this slipped by)..loved it! Fast forward 20 years later I bought a compilation CD "Soul Hits" at a Circuit City closing sale last year and played the 2nd disc. In the middle of the disc,this came on...MY JAW HIT THE FLOOR...must've played it 10 times back to back...I love-just a perfect song!!!...Thanks so much for posting the vinyl!!!

  • @mclarp remember it yes but it only dissapointed when put next to this think i bought it but regretted it eventually found the album versionon a blu note sampler in a second hand record shop in york as bfar as i new the 12 was virtually extinct and the album was 50quid to buy utube is a gift from the gods

  • found this record one sunday in a record shop in wolverhampton uk i went in the back part of the shop and there was a door which was private so there was nobody around exept for the guy at the front of the shop so i had a look.

    there was a pile of disco 12 and this was in there

  • i have all of donald's 70's blue note lp's produced by larry and fonce mizell!! i have my father to thank for that, lol....this track is one of the ultimate low ridin' funk jams from trhe old skool era...and i still ride smooth and easy with this track....this is a perfect song, too, especially in the summertime!!
