I beleive the guy with the object in his mouth would be playing a "juice harp" which was origianlly introduced by Pete Drake many years ago here in Nashville.

You could find Pete's "Forever" video somewhere in my "favoites" collection. I bring in so many videos that it's probably buried pretty deep by now.

@TennisAndGuitarPro It's called a vocoder. Many funk artists used it back in the 80s. Unfortunately rap artists like T-Pain and others have gotten a hold of the instrument and now filter their crappy voices through it and use it in every track they release.
