So bad so so bad I tig weld same pipe and had to get coded in about 25 diffrent size pipes ally an ss so have over 25 active in date codes all done in 6g an how these guys got coded I have no idear. Start new job next month in the middle east in Saudi Arabia as a welding supervisor to over 15 top coded welders start on $11,000 a month all I wana say is if u pipe weld get as many codes as u can an get out to the middle east :)))

Union worker are good at what they do if you can get them to do it. Lazy and not worth the money there are plenty of very good non union companies and workers out there that can get the job done faster with the same or better quality work. Unions suck. Love u to local boys

@richiesuller yes, my Union sucks, my 50$/h sucks, my 2% year pension based on my best 3 years sucks, my benefits such as glasses, boots, work clothes, safety gear, prescriptions, dental, chiro, medical imaging, testing etc sucks, my payed holidays suck, my steady work sucks, my continuous free training sucks, living allowance sucks, payed travel sucks, breaks suck.....NOT. i cant believe whatever QC they had allowed them to use those small pups, they have to be the diameter of the pipe plus half according to the 1104 code book. that contractor should not be allowed to do work anymore

Skippy this is NOT a pipeline so 1104 is not relevant. It looks like crap but was it removed and replaced or placed into service. A lot of biofuels plants has a bunch of this but the work is not engineered, specifications not uses nor anything inspected. If if holds 50 PSI gauge it is good to go,
