This performance must have been incredibly difficult to perfect. It's a backward lip-sync essentially, and if you mess up it's eternally off-sync.

Such as at 2:29, the singer is -slightly- off sync with 2D, but it's easily noticeable.

I for one, think they did an EXCELLENT job on this. the whole concept that, hey, we're going to actually make ourselves BIGGER than them. and the part where 2D turns off the Projector at the end and all, it was great.

Another comment to make...is that Noddle did not die in El Manana, if u pause and zoom in, u see her parachuting out at the last minute...the plan was that Murdaoc Jimmy Mason, who hated the gorillaz and wanted to kill them, that he store guns on the island, and that he would shoot her, without the camera seeing. Murdoc did not place guns on the island...it was a plan to kill Jimmy Manson before he killed the band. But Noodle parachuteed of at the last minute.

I give extreme credit to these MC's. They weren't Del, true, but they were still good. It was a refreshing change, and they didn't really REPLACE Del for good, did they?

And in this particular performance, I was impressed by THEIR performance. They were the first pair of rappers to come onto stage in a live performance that I've seen without losing their own breath during the show, taking from the quality of the song.
