  • i would easily punch a midget for this pedal

  • thanks, that is a great device. Only left to find it up at the stores of my country

  • Nice video. sounds good. looks good. and your explaining is well done! nice work!

  • a thing like "like a stone" at de beggining?

  • White Stripper should use this pedal!

  • Thank you!!

  • Homebrew!!! Well played, sir. Well played indeed,

  • Thanks for playing some White Stripes, that's what we wanted to hear... and some RATM might be cool as well

ps: yup, like everybody else I'm Dying to get one of this

  • Can you blend the wet dry output? I don't like it being too over powering.

  • @Jraax There is not a blend.

  • Nice demo. Thanks for posting.

  • is there any way to use the harmony setting to make it sound like two guitars like the boss

    ps-5 and ps-6?

  • @lukeyboymuzic The Digitech Whammy will do harmonies like the PS5 and PS6 which will make it sound like two guitars but it does not do intelligent pitch shifting.

  • does it track well with bass?

  • @AngelsGateband It is pretty good, especially in the upper registers and higher strings.

  • the amount of shit this pedal can do is just amazing. worth MUCH more than 250. i wouldnt be surprised if it was 400 dollars. chorus pedal, drop tuner, dive bomber, harmonizer, octave, and whammy all in one. what the bloody hell. pedal of the gods, anyone?

  • no whammy presentation without rage against the machines

  • how would it work with the bass guitar, tracking of d-tuning section? would you guys try to make a review with the bass guitar, there is nothing about it on yt.

  • @motorgruve dont think they still make it, but digitech used to have a whammy pedal designed for bass. Ive got a buddy who plays a 5 string shecter bass (not sure of the model) and he has a regular whammy in his setup and it seems to do fine even playing his low B and shifting the note. see if you can find videos if you search digitech bass whammy

  • @griffinmpable why wouldn't you want Tom morello licks ?

  • @hello1967amazing because about 90% of whammy users are douchey kids trying to do Tom Morello stuff, 7% have NO clue how to use a whammy in a creative context and the last 3% are ambient/postrock/shoegaze/whatever guitarists that do WAY cool things with it in conjunction with lots of other pedals. unless youre morello, you pretty much have to have something interesting happening for the whammy to be useful and cool (ie, the band El Ten Eleven, if you havent heard you need to)

  • @griffinmpable ok i'll check them out, but i get the feeling you dont like tom, or is it just the try hards ?

  • @hello1967amazing the bass whammys are pretty cool from what Ive seen. worth the shipping if you can find one for a decent price. actually, Tom is one of my favorite guitar players. I just hate that EVERY video on youtube features RATM or Audioslave riffs. there ARE other players who use the whammy and have made that part of their style (Steve Vai, Trey Anastasio, David Gilmour, Matt Belamy, Jack White) Trey does some awesome shit with the whammy, I wanna see someone do THAT

  • Best explanation of what the whammy can do. Very nice, I think I'll get one

  • Did I hear Homebrew by 311? :D

  • can we get a whammy demo without tom morello licks?

  • @griffinmpable no of course not lol

  • no wa wa affect?

  • @stone314687 No Wah.

  • @stone314687 xDDDDDD nunca

  • So basically this Pedal can change your tuning as low as it can without tuning the head of the guitar?

  • whats the song in 8:10 ???

  • @miroviperrt It's the Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes.

  • Tom Morello fan much?

  • i never thought i'd say this, but i want this whammy pedal! very nice for a metal guitarist like myself

  • this would e very convenient for a metal player.

  • great!... :)

  • The Chorus Killls!!!

  • Could you play Steve Vai's parts on the Bill and Ted sound track when he solo's before 'God gave rock and roll' on the pedal?

  • @clarkied the song is called The Reaper-Steve Vai

  • @CommBreakDown No, the added solo he plays leading into 'god gave rock and roll' at the end of the film. I want to find a pedal to emulate that harmony.

  • @clarkied there two guitar both with harmonizing pitch shifts. so either like a PitchFactor or a Boss PS-6

  • @CommBreakDown Do you have a particular suggestion? I would like to have that particular sound played on the track, as well as a wide range of harmonized effects. I do like the Boss PS-6 though, not sure about the PitchFactor.

  • song on the end or part of the song??

  • @albog1965 The harmonized guitar sound to emulate the intro to 'god gave rock and roll'. The one at the end of the film.

  • @albog1965 seven nation army

  • be honest, is the SOUND of it (forget true bypass and all that shit) better than the old... or at least as good as the old...

  • its so big!!!!

    i love it

  • AUDIO SLAVE FAIL !!!!

  • 2 minutes of talking at the start, I hate these demo videos.

  • The Bomber has polyphonic pitch-shifting with the pedal. Chords...Not just single notes, like Whammy DT.

  • @polski368 And for polyphony you get no harmony modes and no wet/dry control. Yeah, fuck that.

  • so whats the true bypass mean?

  • @twitch101994 When the pedal is not engaged your sound is routed around the circuitry so you do not suffer any signal loss.

  • trying to do some "Bombtrack" i see

  • good demo

  • this device was invented for Skindred riffs, that's it's sole purpose.

  • @christophertorian Only the drop tune part is polyphonic. The Whammy sections works the same way it used to.

  • The White Stripes is all this thing is useful for...

I can divebomb with a tremolo and yeah...

This thing is a cool plaything, but being really useful in music, I don't know.

I never even liked it much in things like PanterA and stuff either so...

Maybe Satriani... but myeah, for how many songs really?

I'm not going to spend 300 anything on this...

  • dude I know you're a musician like a stone but at least make a delay pedal because it so clean with the whammy is horrible kid

  • Can you compare the DT with morpheus pedals (capo, droptune, bomber)?

  • @sifstudio Its like the droptune and the bomber in one plus I think it tracks better than the morpheus. $289.99 with free shipping at nstuffmusic.

  • Drop tune section is in half steps, not whole steps.

  • Drop tune section is in half steps, not whole steps.

  • i want :)

  • omg and I thought the original pedal couldn't be better, but it did! i want one...

  • awesome

  • The Drop Tune Section pitch shifts not whole steps! 7 Half Steps +/-, 1Octave +/- and the same octave +/- with dry signal mixed in!

  • "Gearmanndude" Jim! Boots and all! Great demo! Pedal sounds really good!

  • I fell in love with this.

  • Great pedal

  • @oswa0714006 First comment that makes sense.

  • THIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • second ={D

  • first XD
