  • sardinia is not italy

  • Some of the cinematography in this show is pretty impressive, gotta say. This is a very impressive clip.

  • really nice video of my country Sardinia, shame though they dont' speak our own language sardinian, opting for italian instead..dont get me wrong I think italian is a beautiful language but I would think been in the island of Sardinia I'd expected people there speaking in 'limba sarda'. Thank you for posting it.

  • nice stack of faggots by the oven

  • Sardinia = The land of sardines? LOL

  • @ILFZ2 romanian = land of roma gipsies? LOL

  • in nomine padre

  • this bread looks just like raw croatian side dish (mlinci) that we eat with turkey, ducks or goose on mayor holidays

  • 6 dislikes? What is wrong with people?

  • anyone know the music in the background?

  • the girl to the left of Tony looks like Sammi from jersey shore

  • One of my favorite shows. Glad to see your wife and little daughter!

  • So was that blond chick his wife?

  • @awwwyeaboyeeee nope. his wife is brunette ;)

  • @awwwyeaboyeeee no the blond woman should be his sardinian mother-in-law, and the blond girl the daughter-in-law

  • Tony looks so well in this video -- it's good to see!

  • This is church food...

  • @FLStudioMania no it's is the bread of sardinainan shepherds in the past times,

  • it's like a cracker insted of a bread.

  • The bread looks like Indian's Naan bread

  • Though naan generally is more like a pita/soft bread whereas pane carasau is more like a cracker.

  • Well, thank you..i didnt know that...If pane carasau is crunchy like a cracker, it should be good to eat with salsa, too. What do you think? Have you ever try to eat like that?

  • I suppose you could, but it would be pretty weird. Pane carasau is made, as far as I can tell, from wheat, while tortillas are generally corn.

  • food network WILL RUIN THE TRAVEL CHANNEL

  • sambere sardu lotta pro sos frades

  • SARDINIA IS NOT ITALY!!!!!!!!

  • Yes it is moron...

  • sardinia is arab!

  • Comment removed

  • sardinia was owned by the phoenicians, the carthagenians, the berbers, these were all arabs!!!!!!!!!

read the history! you nationalist dumb fuck!

the flag with the saracens is also used by corsica, it doesnt mean shit! just fake bravery!

  • dumb the phoenicians came back from the ancient lebanon, not arabia, and they settled only on the coasts, the inland sardinia was called barbagia (land of barbarians) from the romans because they weren't invaded never

berbers??? probably you ignorant are confusing with vandals, a germanic tribe who settled in north africa and invaded sardinia!

the corsican flag has got the same meaning of sardinian one, study the history ignorant!

  • please, please!!!

    the phoenicians were semite arabs!!!!

the berbers who invaded and occupied all coastal regions of sardinia from 710 AD are arabs!!! as were the carthagenians who owned sardinia for centuries.

You are stupid if you think only saudi-arabia is arab!!!!

Even the vandal empire was 80% arab and 20% german!!!

Moors on flags are used all over europe!!!

aragon, sardinia, corsica.............even in pharmacies in holland.

  • but probably you have more knowlodge about sardinian hystory than me, you study italian history at university as me?

can you explain me where are the signs of your supposed arabian civilazation in Sardinia?

sardinia was phoenician, roman, vandal, Byzantine, aragonese, catalan, french and austrian for a little period, never arabian!

  • sardinia was also part of holy roman empire, and under the control of the republic of genoa and pisa, and indipendence for several centuries after the end of the east roman empire to the spanish conquest

  • I understand your racism:

even in malta where they speak a berber-arab language they say they have absolutely no relation to arabs or berbers or islam.

you are indoctrinated by your own mythology!

  • you look like a bit psychopatic, according to you i'm a racist because i tell you the real history of sardinia?

sardinia had never been conquered by the arabians , i don't know because i should say the contrary!

why i should change the course of history to make you happy?

  • you change history by making your ancestors into unique peoples with a unique history and thereby glorifying yourself and your nation.

if you studied history, like i did, you should know that no people is unique!!

  • arabi fora!

    arabi fora!

    arabi fora!

    arabi fora!

    arabi fora!

  • i know where you are coming from: you dont want black or brown people in your history so you change history, i understand!!!

let me tell you this: In the roman era, most slaves in italy came from north africa.

  • yes in sardinia was arabian but for a little time

  • when???

the Exarchate of Africa, included for a little time sardinia, but it was part of East Roman Empire, so it was part of Bizantyum

the only sign of arabian presence in sardinia is in the castle of the island of Asinara, the Castellaccio, cove of the Saracen Pirate Barbarossa

  • it's was in the ca. 1010 the arabian come to alghero and combate with sardinian people (because the sardinian no was a army)and after with pisani .than they went in the direction to oblia ,the name of the arab king i don't but it was the same like balears king and andalus .

  • it doesn't mean how has written the user Berialavrenti, that sardinians are arabians, because also other european areas as the coasts of Provence in France sometimes was controlled by saracens, which used the natural gulfs as a cove, to organize raids around mediterranean. alghero is best known for its catalan heritage.

  • Go Bourdain!!!! Sardegna is a part of Italy that I have yet to visit.

  • SARDINIA IS NOT ITALY!

  • Is it just me, or was this some of the best cinematography I've seen in his shows?

  • @jkeagle Totally agree with you! Great picture, great cinematography. I'vent seen the full episode, but looks that it was very well shot.

  • See my videos

a European vacation of a lifetime. Begin your trip in London with a full day to tour and discover the UKs capital on your own. Then, cross the Channel by ferry and board your motorcoach to Amsterdam, where a guided sightseeing tour and canal cruise await. In Germany, travel along the castle-dotted Rhine River and join the Romantic Road as it passes by medieval fairytale towns with half-timbered houses.

  • now if you actually had a brain, then you might have something worthwhile to say. His shows were never about learning how to cook, they've been about traveling and exploring new cultures. Seriously, most people on youtube are the biggest morons to ever say a word.

  • Amen to that.

  • This trailer makes me want to watch this show tonight!

  • That looks really awesome!

  • what a bullshit !!

  • Wow those Carasau are crunchy as hell!

  • Bourdain is great love his show.

  • Bourdain is my fucking culinary HERO.
