  • I'm American, and I really really want to Visit Japan. I hear a lot of things, how fun it is, how they dislike Americans and such, I won't base my opinions off things I hear from others. Unless it's from an actual Japanese person when I'm in their Country.

    Even if some people are mean, it's just how life is and I still won't dislike Japan I bet.

    Yeah, short story short, i want to visit Japan =P I am in the Marine Corps, not sure how Japanese View the US Marines.

  • I guess I'd always say it's good, even if it's not. I'd think it's impolite to say the food is awful, aöthough I tell that my mother all the time :D (But it really is -.-)

  • @kunoichiwarrior27 can be a good ice breaker! maybe when you say it they laugh but not because you are saying it wrong, maybe cuz they wouldn't expect you to say those words. So, could be fun! wouldn't hurt anyways.

  • LOL. In my experience you never say mazui, or even ma m to a host. Unless you want to wear the meal home. I hear oishii used often in my lessons. Is there a word that means even better than oishii? Like devine or heavenly?
