My family uses :

- Prestige Nelson monitored alarm system - all doors and windows protected, glass breakage sensors, shock sensors and panic buttons. (hardwired smoke detector system linked to Nelson)

- Prestige Nelson security sensor lights

- Swann outdoor surveillance system

- Bump proof dead bolts on front and back sliding door

and the usual security stickers and yard sign to protect our home :D

Haha I love the people who use these alarm systems. Recently robbed a movie theater and it was made easy because I placed a magnetic strip over one of the doors when I was leaving a movie earlier that day. Bingo, door opened and I had free access to the safe.

screw people who say it sucks! I had 5 of them. and 19 sensor motion. They don't call companies when it goes off. you don't pay every month. but do you want FREE services? automaticly call 911 9or your local police station when the alarm sounds. and when you call 911 yourself, NO COST OF 30 - 99 $ PER MONTH! make ALL OF THE ALARM SOUNDS AT THE SAME TIME when only one alarm goes off. Have it notify you which alarm goes off with a computer system or led lights. BEST THING, POWERED BY BATTERIES!

if you want cheaper ones but works like expensive ones, buy it at 99 Cent only stores or 1 dollar tree stores...

yES! I had one. too... and it works perfectly...

however, it runs through only 30 secounds... (Both instant and delay.)

but program it yourself! - make it sounds off untill the battery dies. without calling the 911 or monitoring a company. also, you can even create your OWN system networks...
