  • Idiosyncrasy from Greek word idiosincrasia ( ιδιοσυγκρασία) ... is a compound word ---- comes from the words ---- ---- ourself and self control ... ( Ίδιος και συγκρατώ)...

A definition of the word : the set of acquired characteristics of humans where it forms the reaction within the space and time.

Every emotion, and therefore the reaction is the combination between idiosyncrasy (acquired characteristics) and the moment we are experiencing.

  • I can't say I understand it but I liked it, especially the music and the trees

  • @jamboni I'm glad you liked it! Synopsys is in the video description. But it may have a different understanding for you.

    Filip

  • @FilghiProductions Perhaps should of read that lol! It makes sense now, Kind of matrix/inception tones then at the end? The Humean/Cartesian question of reality. But I like the sociological aspect of subjective experience. It did remind me of how nostalgia can be triggered and perceived differently by the individual.

  • Wow not bad at all ^^

  • @Nosensefornonsense wow = very good so thank you! :)

    Filip

  • Best 2 minute short film I've seen. You ask the question will he still be dreaming. If he is still dreaming then shouldn't we ask will he wake up? I think he does awake but he doesn't forget I don't really know how ppl could forget but they could come to terms with it and let be that you can remember but not live within.Yet you say the suppression is what causes the dream but if he (we) give it positive conotation he (we) can liive without but still remember. Steer a path not the turn.

  • @mrnotorious123 Almost there. But if it's the best 2 minute short film you've seen why did you not subscribe?

    Filip

  • @FilghiProductions I will but I'm still stuck on full meaning of some of your films. can I not say I love this video & then say sense I don't understand all the videos maybe I shouldn't fully commit to the whole thing. You are fantastic but I think craft is good if it is understood. We are not all geniuses. I will but not all ppl will because they may love it & may even understand it but ppl don't sub just on one video. I really meant to but forgot so I hope to see more & chat more about them.

  • @mrnotorious123 I have 43 videos that I think you will like! :) If you liked "Tick Tock" and "Idiosyncrasy" I know you'll like my other works too. So don't worry about that. Just have a look and enjoy. You know, no1 has ever openly admited to me being a genius.. Listen craft is best when it imposes an idea or feeling upon the person. So even if the film is not fully understood you feel it's correct. If you like something and you get a positive feeling from it then it must mean something good.

  • Great job to the entire crew!!!!!!!

  • Holy crap dude, you got alot of views! Congrats. This truly is a piece of art

  • That's interesting cause I use FC Express with my avchd and I havn't really noticed loss of quality once I realized how to import directly from the camera to FC. What camera do you use?

  • @fourestgump2 Tottery. I used to import directly from the camera to FCP. You don't see the loss of quality. But I've looked into it and the pros say that FCP makes a FCP file in the importing proses. So it's not true avchd.

    I use the HMC 150.

    Filip

  • I dig it man. Is that black border thing, an effect of or a recording setting on your camera? Do you use final cut?

  • @fourestgump2 Thanks dude! lol it's an effect. I was going for a super 8 film camera look. That old dramatic film. Yes I actually use final cut pro but not on this one. I moved over to AF and the CS5 pack. In FCP you don't keep quality. So FCP is not a good choice when editing AVCHD footage.

    Filip

  • Veery nicely done. ;)

  • @cubrick2001 Thank you :)

    Filip

  • that was actually quite interesting, great job

    -Larry

  • @LiveThisLifeStudios Thank you for the compliments Larry.

  • Filip I changed my name to Cslamowitz it used to be Parkourkid919.

  • Awesome, man.. Very deep and very well made. I'm starting out in filmmaking myself and I'm learning so much from you. Thanx.

  • Interesting..

  • that was so great. what editing software do you use. and where do you live

  • @ParkourKid919 For this I just used after effects part of the cs5 collection. I live in Canada. If you want to know more about me I have information on my profile. If it's about work related questions just send me a PM. I'll get back to you.

    Filip

  • @FilghiProductions thanx man do you know a place to download after effects? Is it free or do you have to pay? thanx and awesome vid

  • @ParkourKid919 No problem man. After effects costs $. There is a way to get it free but I don't know if it's legal and ethical to tell you directly. Just look it up on google and you'll find something. Hey I know this experimental was a bit heavy so I added my synopses to the video description. Hopefully things will get clear.

    Filip

  • @FilghiProductions haha makes so much sense now. You are a great filmaker and you should keep up the great work.

  • that's so sad :_(
