  • I need help. I have a goal to lose 30 lbs of body fat within a month and also increase my muscle mass. I used to be really buff but after months of stress and bad eating habits I've only gained fat and most of the muscle I used to have has melted away due to no longer working out for a very long time. I really need to get back into routine. I'm doing this for myself but also because I'll be seeing my gf whom I haven't seen for a year now next month so I need to get in shape.

  • @sclock2 if you were once buff i'd hope you'd realise losing 30 lbs of fat in a month is impossible. healthy rate to lose bodyweight is a lb a week, but if you wanted to im sure you could maybe do 3 lbs a week whcih is 12 a month, gona take 3 months to lose that probably. your best bet is to do resistance training 5x a week in a split and 20-40 minutes of cardio following the workout everyday, take weekends off but sort out your diet, less calories than you use to lose weight. 500 off a day.

  • Hey man i dont know if you were joking or not about sending money for that bullshit 40 pounds of lean muscle program from ikislav. Just so you know its a scientific fact the human body in theory at maximum can produce one pound of muscle a week. It does not mean you will, it just means the human body is capable of generating a pound of muscle tissue. Just that piece of information will allow you to spot bullshit claims. If you want tips i can help ive been natural bodybuilding for 5 years.

  • Hey @3bood34 people have been getting fit for years and thier is no secret no matter what new marketing genius comes up with. To loose weight you simply need to consume less calories then you burn. a ratio of 40%carbs. 40% protein, and 20% healthy fats is a good base. The New england journal of medicine sais any combination of fats proteins or carbohydrates can put weight on you in excess. For example a meal can be chicken with rice, and a side salad with olive oil.

  • That meal contains protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats in the olive oil. Ok so now you lost the weight and you want focus on your shape. A muscle does three things, grow shrink or stay the same. Muscles grow because of intense muscular contractions, not the repititions. So you need to start lifting weights. Its important you know what your doing or you will end up like guys in the gym who look the same after years. message me if you want the exact workout routine.

  • muscles take 48 hours to rest. so what yhu should do is work out on yhur muscles (biceps, triceps, weights, push-ups) one day, then the next, cardio (sit-ups, abs, jogging, or treadmill) iDid this now iLook great

  • wait 30 minutes a day? well say if you workout 30 minutes on one day and the next day you work another 30? but your body will be sore you have to let your body heal before you workout again dats how you build muscle when your muscles are sore dat means you shreded your muscls and then when they heal, they heal in a greater bigger size dats how you get muscls dont workout when your sore your muscles have to rest.

    so when you rest and your sore

    your muscles repair into a bigger form of muscls

  • dude if your muscle is sore then take a break, weight lift should be every other day not every day. for me i weight lift every other day then jog, run, and bike the other day so you get a rest in between that way if your sore you can have some rest. beside you need at least 24 to 48 hour of rest for weight lift. well it vary from ppl to ppl.

    if your saying that then your getting sore from working out so yea you can do pushups. im saying that after you work out and the next day your muscles are all sore then you should rest. for me its like every two days

  • It works, I followed it, did what it said, did 1200 calorie a day diets, and it worked, lost 15 lbs in 3 weeks. kept it off and feel great. No I dont work for him, try it and you will see.
